"Café de la Poste is a charming village café tucked near the medieval church in the picturesque village of Aspiran. The café provides a limited but varied menu, the food is simple and delicious and the wine list features good local wines. On my list of favourites is always the tart of the day fabulous whether it's quiche, tomato or (my guilty pleasure) onion. Other starters feature local charcuterie and tomato and mozzarella salad. Main courses vary from day to day and usually include chicken or duck breast, brochettes of beef or chicken and such local specialities as aligot and saucisson. The chips are amazing with a really wonderful flavour. Service is great. The host, Alain, is welcoming, friendly and charming and is multilingual with excellent English. If you want a relaxed, informal lunch or evening meal, this café is not to be missed. Treat yourself!"

In the heart of the village, nice outdoor terrace, prices drinks ok, a flat on the cheese rate, a little expensive for the quantity, but good View menu

The experience was so pleasant.. the musicians accompanied our meal with modern semi classical music that had a lot of taste, wine was excellent, people were happy and nice... When I come back, I'm going back.

Exceptional A lovely welcome! A homemade cuisine made with love: tasty, original, cooking and seasoning perfect, spicy, the little seeds that crisp... And all at very low prices! A restaurant that is worth a visit to this small village, away from steaks/frites and beaten paths, much better than many pretentious gastros. 5, 6th tapas, 7th dishes, desserts to 6. Delicious wines! Just a big thank you for your work and your investment, 4th meal at the post coffee shop, we're fans, happy to have moved to Aspiran and eager to come back

"A charming little French bistro nestled in a residential area of South Pasadena. The parking is extremely easy because there are many parking spaces in the street available without a counter or allowed in this part of the city. It is a small place, but well done in this sense that the tables are not too close together and allow them to eat inside and outside. Our waitress Fabienne was very polite and attentive, she did an excellent job. I love bistros and I go often, so I've already come by knowing what I wanted to have, but as usual, I was influenced by the chef's dish for my entry. I started with French onion soup and it was very good and made in a classic style, perfect for a cold winter night. We also ordered the cheese balls (goat cheese and gruyère wrapped in prosciutto) and these were exceptionally tasty; They sold me once I heard the goat cheese. For my entry, I was going to take the trout but when I heard the special ribs, I chose it and it was rich and delicious. I wish he came with more sauce than I missed halfway, but it was perfectly cooked and very tasty. A big bistro all around and I would recommend it to everyone. It's nice to get out of LA on the occasion to mix it, then come north in this quiet area and an excellent service was a pleasure.
