"We walked up away from the seafront and found this little place where the food and ambience looked really good. The gentleman who was rushing to serve his lunchtime guests at full tables advised that we would need to wait for 30 min for service, but in the end our wait was just 10 minutes. We both ordered moules frites with Gorgonzola sauce, and also enjoyed a small carafe of white wine. All the food that we saw looked superb and we had the impression that local people were enjoying this great place alongside the tourists. My VERY basic French language knowledge seemed to be enough to get by, and I think the courtesy of at least trying to communicate in French is always appreciated. Our hosts shared that they were finishing service for the season that day, and presented us with a liquor after our coffee as they sat themselves down to share a bottle of wine to celebrate. We thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. I hope you had a good season gentlemen, and if we are able to return to the Cote D’Azur we would love to return to Loco Loco for sure!"

We ate there a few nights ago. The food was delicious and the service brilliant. Our two year old daughter was acting up and the kindness and patience displayed by the staff was empathetic, kind and exemplary. I highly recommend.

really good, friendly and friendly staff who also speaks Italian. The place is very nice, it only put out. fantastic curry mussels. abundant portions. normal prices, on the contrary low compared to those of all other locals around (24€ per head for mussels, chips, dessert, coffee and drink. )

We visited the restaurant after reading some of its TripAdvisor reviews, and we were not disappointed. We skipped the starters and got straight into the mains, a Pistou pasta and the Mussels with cream and garlic. The food was simple and beautiful. We finished with a creme bulee and profiteroles. We'd definitely return here upon returning to Nice View menu

the place presents très mignon, as the French would say. slightly differs from the local classic that you expect here and gives a touch of Latin. friendly, staff speaking Italian is very kind, especially with children. exquisite and abundant salads, excellent marine moules. The thirst made us take beer, but sooner or later the rosé de provence I'll have to try it. absolutely good prices in the price quality ratio. I'll definitely come back! Good!

Had mussels with gorgonzola and a massive side of French fries for 16 euro each. Superb. Fresh, well cooked, hot to the end of the bowl. This is a little gem this place but you need to search for it. With other places having flashy shop fronts and overlooking the sea this is back from the sea front so is easily overlooked. Stick to what you do well, I say and they do mussels WELL! Get your phrase book out as they don't do English really, but it's so worth the effort.

We had a lovely long weekend in Villefranche last week. Prior to travelling we researched the restaurants in the area and decided to choose this restaurant as one to visit during our stay. We were so glad we did. We both chose moules. My wife chose moules cooked in a Gorgonzola and cream sauce, and I chose moules cooked in curry sauce. We were both delighted. Absolutely delicious and good value for the price too. Excellent, friendly service and great food. Can’t ask for more than that£ View menu

Called here for lunch.Prices very reasonable/ good value.Sat outside at tables that are set beside an alleyway. A limited view of the harbour from here. Some shade from the parasols.Moules frites was good. Lots of mussels and properly hot chips.Caesar salad for my wife also very good.Tap beer was good.Service very slow - nearly an hour to get our mains, even though it didn't appear too busy at the time of our visit. Just one waiter who rushed around but was let down by his cook's speed. A shame as our food was very pleasant. No others on here complain of the wait so we must have caught them at the wrong moment!

at first glance this restaurant does not aspire to trust. the tables are next to each other, the tablecloths of these are very campagnards and people eat next to people so they don’t know. The restaurant is located in a small corner of the street and I find it very pretty. The welcome was nice because the waitress was really nice. However the server was not very happy, they almost cheer us because we do not immediately choose the drinks. If you want one day, eat at the right franquette, because it must be said that around it is rather gourmet restaurants, it is made for you. fried mussels were good as well as steak and veal escalope, nothing to say. we can think of the first look that it is...
