"managed to try most restaurants in the environment before they return to our favorite Vieux clocher and it not disappointed. about 3 miles outside of barjac in the village st privat de champclos the location in a converted monastery (I think, . is very picturesque. they always seem to be full so they have to reserve. the 3 course set menus are 23€ or 35€, we went for the 23 and it was excellent. a tart with chicken curry and salat for starter, filet mignon with a senf sauce for main course and panacotta for dessert. in my view, they are more specialized with their appetizers and desserts, which all appear homemade. they tend to be fed well, but not filled after dinner. if they are anglo saxon, they can find some of the meats a little under boiled (like the ones who prefer it, but ask them to cook it 'well made' (with raised eyebrow! . large service the best restaurant we can find for 25 miles."

"I went to this hotel and honestly it was great! we had a nice clean room and the bed is comfortable. In the morning, we had a crazy trouble getting out of it! the room is spacious, is carefully maintained we are staying several nights towel change every day and bed remade a happiness .. The employee was on top, smiling, super pleasant. For lunch, it's good! The only flat in this hotel is insulation. But it doesn't prevent us from sleeping well! I recommend it to everyone! a big thank you to all this wonderful staff."

"For 8 years, we have come to taste the cuisine of this talented and authentic chef. At first we looked at the map to choose our dishes to book, then very quickly we realized that Carole has the talent to make you love dishes that are not preferred for you then imagine how it sublimates the dishes you love. It puts tenderness, generosity and greediness in its kitchen. The flavor associations and textures that burst into the mouth never play false notes. In 8 years and we are faithful, we have never been disappointed, would it be once. Don't go for lace mats and silver candlesticks, because the Monteil is chichi-free, but better, it's shell and above all, you feel at home and that's what you want. The warm welcome you will find in the sunny accent of Antoine that serves you and sings dishes on the menu of the slate cooked by its beautiful and it is a real poetry! Cherry on the cake, the Chef comes to greet you at the end of the service and ask you if you liked her little dishes she cooked for you and it is worthy of the great chefs, finally those who still feel the pain. I can continue this path for a long time, but I leave the suprise of discovery to the neophytes."
