"We early had a lucky escape, we nearly left after having to wait quite a long time for an offer of a drink let alone anything else. But unfortunately the waiter came to us just before we left. I ordered the chicken and that was ok, but the other 3 people in my party ordered steak - it was raw, stringy, fatty and impossible to cut and eat. just really awful. After asking them to cook it for a bit longer - which seemed to take an age too, so we assumed it would come back very well done, came out a whole new, raw, stringy, fatty steak. It wasn't cheap either."

While passing through Lille, I dined in this fairly classic restaurant and discovered beautiful home cooking with very good value for money. I recommend.

Very good Welsh and stew. Nadia and Benoit at the top. Benoit did not give in to pressure to put the football match on TV. Finally someone who doesn't like football as much as I do. It's nice.

Very slow service. Asked for a medium well steak and it arrived rare. Asked for it to be cooked a little longer and they eventually brought back a new steak that was even rarer. Chips were nice, wouldn't come back

The sign outside beckoned us. .5 litre beer for the price of .33l during happy hour. I had my favourite Belgian beer served in an enormous glass; big enough for a plant. We might easily have stayed there for dinner for the menu looked attractive but we had already decided to go elsewhere,

I had a meal here alone, the staff placed me at a table where I did not feel too surrounded by others and where I did not feel awkward at all. The service was great and the food was very good. I had the chicken pasta - there was not very much chicken but it was all very tasty and in a nice sauce.

This place is close to the Flanders station . Large restaurant on two floors which seemed very popular with the locals. We had loads of beers to choose from hard job but we muddled through. There is waiter/waitress service. We found that 4 beers cost 30 euro but that was about average for the area. The service was good. There is a disabled toilet at the back of the restaurant. The others were upstairs.

The place is accesible from outside Gare Flanders.Food is not outstanding but better than other touristy restaurants. The waiters are friendly, hrlpful and speaks English. Good for tourists whose not sure what to eat.I could gave tried the mussels coz it really smells goid like home-cooked but im not a big eater and i dont want to lesve food on my plate.Good varieties of beers, liqiuors and cocktails.Cozy place, well-lighted and good for young and oldies to chat and relax.

A day trip with time for a lunch break shouts for a steak frites whenever I am in France, especiallly in the northern part. Being at the station "Flandres" it's just over the street and the very friendly and welcoming staff makes you feel fine (if you like the music being played). The entrecôte with french fries came as ordered. The steak as expected but the fries tasted like warmed up patatoes or old oil used - a pitty mainly when I saw the other tables being served with nice looking fries. Perhaps just bad luck being an early guest....
