"My second visit to Le Saint Pierre, in the past 2 years. Albeit we arrived a little early, we were shown to our table and provided with the menu & wine list.We opted for a fixed price menu @ €75 a head, with glasses of a very nice champagne.Food was excellent, 5 courses including an excellent cheese selection. Despite the fixed nature of the menu, the proprietor was happy to make substitutions for my partner.A popular restaurant, with many returning customers who were well known to the proprietor. I note that the proprietor has had some less than positive reviews on here, however, like anything in life, you get out what you put in. With a little effort, this gentleman became the perfect host. (Helps if your partner is also comtois) I also noted in his dealing with another table that he was more than accommodating in his recommendations for their meal. Suggesting a specific menu in a particular price range. On the whole I had a great meal, in a wonderful location & I look forward to visiting again, next time I am in the area."

A friend recommended this place to me. I had nice seafood and the restaurant is nicely decorated. I liked the quiet and cosy atmosphere at the end of a cold autumn day.

Fish was descent but due to the rude and racist owner (bald man), restaurant experience was ruined. Shame, has great potential but no understanding of the restaurant business

Was generally a disappointment. Pretentious food which was not too good, especially not for the price. Had some digestional problems afterwards, so even the freshness is doubtful. Wine was fine, but quite expensive. Service was fair, but nothing to write home about.

The food and service were outstanding. They brought out little tiny sandwiches as an appetizer. Even though we didn't order soup, they brought everyone a creamy asparagus soup. Even our teenage boy really liked it. The cheese tray was superior. All in all a lovely evening with wonderful food and atmosphere. View menu

The ambience and decor was very nice. We ordered the Apicius menu. The duck foie gras I must say was absolutely delicious! It was amazing and our favorite course by a long shot. The following courses were "ok". The lobster lasagne was interesting but the rest were nothing special or unique. But it's a good place in terms of eating a decent pleasant meal. I give it 3-4 stars.

My traveling companion and I enjoyed a meal here at the recommendationof our hotel. We were lucky that the restaurant was open on a Monday night in that most were closed. We selected the Prixe Fixe "Marche" as the best value and it turned out to be a winner. From the moment we sat down, we were impressed with the attentive service and the friendliness of the owner and his assistant. The fish served as the main attraction was fresh and great tasting. The white wine complimented the dish but could stand to be a little more Chardonnay like for our tastes. Altogether, a most pleasant meal, unhurried and great tasting!

The restaurant was recommended by the hotel we usually go to. We were not dîsappointed. Normally we have a three course meal. This time we treated ourselves to a menu with six courses and liked every one of it. From the beginning to the end the meal was great and we left the restaurant very happy. There were just two things: They don't serve butter with the bread as we are used to. And we had to wait for quite some time for one of the courses because other tables had the same dish and were to be served at the same time. Convenient for the kitchen, not so convenient for the guest. Besides from that everthing was just fine. View menu

We were recommended this restaurant having driven 6 hours South-well what a fantastic place!!We arrived at 7.02 pm-just after they had opened-and with my faltering French managed to get a table. The host/maîtres D/owner partner, was great-he had a fantastic sense of humour and the service we received was exemplary. Now to go onto the food-they specialise in Fish and what a great selection both in terms of choice and value price. The food was beautifully cooked and presented well-the portion sizes were great-and while we did not have to suffer the usual Michelin "BS"-the quality of the cuisine was excellent. To finish it off, the prices were really good and we left vowing to return. We found th...

My booking was at 21:00 but I arrived an hour early. The manager didn't make any fuss and happily accommodated me.I took the Menu Neptune (52 euros with an entree, a main course, a cheese plate and a dessert). There're also the amouse bouche and petit four. Altogether quite a lot of food for me.The food was tasty and beautifully presented. I in particular loved the starter marble of foie gras and oxtail in truffle vinegar with date chutney. The service was good. Attentive but not too formal. The waiter took time to write down the name of one of the cheeses I took. After I'd paid my bill and was ready to go, the manager walked me to the door and even gave me a nice book called "Le Doubs saveu...
