"it was quite insane that the waiter considered it necessary to tell us in which order the cutlery should be used as he showed it, the insult to injury by when I ordered veloute he said they know that it suppe later sniffed a glass before it was emptied. over half an hour between the first and the second curs and accompanying next-courts are missing, so another five minutes are waiting for those after they have to insist that they were not present, and still a part of the order was missing. my main dish was plaice, which tasted as if it was freezing and under a kitchen **** had been quickly frozen. it was so overseasoned that it was not allowed./ the tables that were both sides of us were less than one hand span apart. a few to the left returned their meal back to the kitchen, it was served stone cold, and when it was presented again, it was overdone (steak) and the customer did not eat it. as our tables were so close, we felt set as a party of four and could not help but talk about our mutual dissatisfaction. / the restaurant setting is warm, pleasant (some tables compressed) and a beautiful bistro-buzz from the diners. We all agreed that our time and our money would have been better spent in the herzogin, a beautiful pub next door. I highly recommend le vacherin if they want to be abused by the funeral, belly waiter and left starving and light in the wallet. all rounds a terrible experience.And continue to answer to social media and other review platforms (see below) my Response:"

Amazing food and service. Genuinely surprised at how good everything was, given the price. We went for the prix fixe menu and it was incredible. Will definitely be back!

We hadn’t visited here before. Everything about this place is perfect. We always chose somewhere ‘up market’ when we go out without the kids and this restaurant did not disappoint.<br Food was exquisite and the service exceptional.

I started with the warm salad of hand dived scallops, black pudding and Ayrshire bacon. This was a bed of dressed lettuce leaves topped with four tender scallops (four! wow! , two long streaky strips of bacon and a lump, for that is what it was, of squidg

There might have been a few small niggles here and there, but this was a sound and thoroughly enjoyable meal. The cooking was solid, and the produce used was excellent. And to have truffle in each course with wonderful matching wines for only £85, including service, was excellent value.

good dinner in le vacherin. we recently had a great dinner in le vacherin. I had chicken liver and foie gras paté, aged rib eye steak and a delicious venezulan chocolate fondant. it was very dark and rich and had an excellent taste. the service was very attentive and the restaurant was well illuminated and attractive.

the food was excellent for most of our dishes (because it is a more expensive place,) but some were disappointing a starter with scalopps had 2 miniscule bits of fish (it felt common) one of our desserts (apple fritters) had industrial ice (the other, house made vacherin dishwasher was washed off.) despite all this, we were happy to have ourselves, I hope it can be on the details

I would certainly come back to le vacherin when I am in the mood for classic French eating, the eating is great and the service is also good. the food was flawless and full of taste and good ingredients. the restaurant was filled and obvious that it must be a popular place to eat in chiswick. it is clear that a lot of attention and attention were brought to the courts of le vacherin that produce qualitatiw high-quality, fault-free dishes.

it has been a long time since I was last in a restaurant in malcolm john when his duo was still there from restaurants in croydon “Le Cassoulet” and “Fish Grill”. Of course, this was before the recession when the restaurant industry boomed, and there was plenty of money to walk around, even in less fashionable opposites in south london. le cassoulet has unfortunately closed and fish grill was subsequently renamed as brasserie vacherin, where the bistro style menu was served on the former. Nevertheless, its flagship restaurant in chiswick is unaspected and had recently received a renovation.
