"The anticipation was great when I got an invitation to menu and show at the GOP. The description on the homepage was good and I wanted to ask if you can visit the restaurant without a show package. But I saved the question after dinner. Overall, the food did not delight us. First, my vegetarian escort was disappointed with the lean vegetarian offer. There is a menu selection with an appetizer (currently bovine carpaccio; veg: Radi Carpaccio as well as 2 meats and a fish dish. For vegetarians there is only a solid dish (currently: oven vegetables with feta without choice). For a place of this (price class is really leaner. I had the pig back at first glance a very large piece but 1/3 was pure fat. In both main dishes, the proportion of vegetables was unfortunately very small. As a dessert, there was a banana parfait with chocolate pieces. M. E. was not a parfait, but simply frozen bananas. ; The foods were okay to good but didn't excite us. The service was well. The waiter spoke very quietly and relatively badly German. That didn't make the understanding easy. He was permanently hectic and rarely seen. Later there was some support, but here too you had to call for the service. After half an hour the place was full to the last place and it was very loud. The menu costs about 36€ (incl. 0.1 l of champagne per person. A 0.2 l glass Riesling costs 7.90 €. We were both of the opinion that the price/performance ratio does not really fit and there is no risk of repetition for us. Then I'd rather eat a little bit before the show."
