"valenciennes is not a place where they want to be exciting or interesting, so that this place may be one of the culinary highlights for valenciennes, it is not really all that I would call in other parts of the world above average. Please do not misunderstand this...Overview: eating is nice, but also on average in the type of menu and the quality of cooking: ordinary pizza, burger etc. I had snuggle and they were overcooked and quite dry. the service is also very moderate. the waiters are slow and do not check whether they need another drink or something. So, very average. nothing more and nothing less."

A bit busy! But good food. We waited 10 to 15 min to get a table. But it's worth it. The food is good, and the service efficient .

Went with my family and was quite impressed! Champagne by the glass was poured from Magnum of Pol Roger, large selection of beers! Food was good but not exceptional, Potjevleesch with too much jelly, lobster a bit tasteless! Best thing was the service, friendly, attentive and professional (man with glasses and goatee)!

recommended by our hotel, this place certainly delivered. easy to find, lots of parking. large selection of dressed on the menu all freshly prepared. asace tarte to begin, followed by rognons de veau and bavette steak. we both enjoyed the good. the ambiente was good and the staff was super helpful. excellent place to visit.

Arrived at hotel after driving for 200 miles and all I wanted was somewhere nice to sit for the evening have a glass of wine and a nice meal. On arrival at hotel thought oh dear this is going to be tough there was a local mall and the restaurants locally looked basic. Checked trip advisor and found L'Edito. Vegetarian friendly, lots of options, hubby happy good no apparently excellent beer and nice service and setting.

in the hotel after the trip for miles arrived and all I wanted was somewhere nice to sit for the evening, have a glass wein and a beautiful meal. at the arrival in the hotel thought oh dear this will be hard, there was a local shopping center and the restaurants before site looked fundamental. checked travel advisor and found l’edito. vegetarian friendly, many options, hubby happy good no seemingly excellent beer and nice service and hire.

I was in valenciennes for months and visited many different restaurants, but this was my favorite and I was there many times. beautiful ambiente, with a lot of hospitable welcome from the entrance. the portions are large and the eating is absolutely delicious!. the staff is very courteous, friendly and professional. the prices are very good. in any case, it is worth seeing with every occasion. the quality of my photos has nothing to do with the reality that was excellent!

This place is one of a small French chain. More of a sports food bar. A very large choice of food. We had pizza, moules Mariniere and fajitas. The fajitas were delivered in sauce and there were small portions of guacamole sour cream and curry as well as salad and tortiilas and French fries. Strange! A 50 cc carafe of rose, a lemonade and a beer plus 3 desserts creme brulee, il floatant and a 3 chocolate cake all delicious and full bill was less than €80. It was a Thursday night and by 8:30 there was a queue for tables. We went to Valenciennes town centre just before and no-one was eating.
