"we knew the lemon rampage for years to pass, but never went in. today this was different. the interieur is very high quality and we felt comfortable. eating was super delicious, just as we like it. the fish dish made them fresh, of course, which is why the preparation took some time; but this was communicated to us during the order. the service was very attentive and friendly, but never intrusive. also the chefin explored after us. a successful evening for us."

The Thay-Food is excellent, especially all the curry dishes. The service is very attentive. The location is in a quiet quarter, somewhat out of the center. But you'll have no problem with parking your car.

attentive and friendly staff. the dishes very good and well presented, dessert delicious . the place is well decorated. prices are higher at night. advice: taking advantage of the midday menu the economy does not allow it. But to prove it. View menu

we were there on a Tuesday night. the local was about half full. Perhaps the causal lies at the location or cool weather, although this is quite central and easily accessible locally. Our visit was then a real joy. the attentive service was extremely friendly, eating excellent and the prices for gentle conditions very decent. the portions are very generous. We will surely come back here.

"This is my fav Italian joint in Zurich. La Famiglia Tremonte is a small, family run cafe-restaurant that serves excellent and authentic Italian food at prices that are low compared to the norm in Zurich.Famiglia Tremonte is rather inconspicuously located at the corner of Zurlindenstrasse and Birmensdorferstrasse, a couple of doors away from The Desperado Mexican Restaurant. You might need to look for it a little: I lived practically next door and did not notice it for almost a year, and even then a friend had to point it out to me.The restaurant is mostly a takeout with very little seating, i.e. 7 people inside, and when the weather is goo, about 5 people outside. The ambience is basic but, like most things in Switzerland, the interiors are very clean. Staff and service are very goo. The food here is awesome! Authentic Italian fare that is probably heavily influenced by Sicilian tradition since that is where the family is from. I used to visit almost every day because the food tastes great and the prices are so low for Zurich. I have tried almost everything: several pasta dishes, polpettine, stuffed bell peppers, meatloaf, piadina, and of course, the fabulously tasty and hot chilli infused EVOO. I enjoyed every dish I ordered. Great stuff! I strongly recommend the super-hot chilli infused EVOO as a seasoning for almost all dishes, but especially the pasta dishes that come in a cream sauce. Please be careful with chilli EVOO: 0.5 tbsp. for noobs, and a max. of 2 tbsp. for those who like it hot. The chilli EVOO, when used appropriately, adds great flavour to your dish. The piadina is the best I have eaten - period. I have been all over the world, spent a lot of time in Italy and New York (: great place for Italian food lovers :), and I still think this is the best piadina ever. They also serve some nice Italian desserts -- I've tried a few but have forgotten the names. They also have a small selection of Italian ingredients for sale. I bought the pesto and was happy with it. You also get a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic Italian drinks to go with the food.Prices are relatively low by Zurich standards: I rarely ever ate for more than CHF 15, and if I skipped the drinks it was usually around CHF 10. Of course, this varies a bit according to what you order.Highly recommended. Glad I found this place. Great for office workers in the vicinity."
