"We were staying at a nearby hotel, which recommended Leons to us (with a 15% discount voucher as they did not have an onsite restaurant. We were slightly apprehensive after reading some of the trip advisor reviews, but being tired and hungry after a long 8 hour drive, we thought we would give it a go! On arrival, we were greeted by a lovely waitor, who had some intuition that we were English before we even spoke! He sat us at a table (with English menus! , explained the menu and took our drinks order. Although the restaurant was very busy (including many locals we received excellent efficient service throughout the evening and the food was delicious. Although previous reviews have said the restaurant was dirty, we did not see this on our visit (perhaps management have taken heed of the review . Overall, we would not hesitate to visit this restaurant again if in Colmar, based on the service and the value for money for a two course meal."

friendly restaurant, I was there Sunday at noon. We take the time to lay the feet to deguster the famous mussels. The staff is listening and is very available. Thank you.

Good menu range and helpful staff even if your French is a little limited. Portions are reasonable and the food is well served. A range of beers and wines makes this a good drop in although gets busy at week-ends so may need to book.

Having already been to other Leons (Brussels Paris) I knew exactly what to expect. Mussels beautifully cooked .It may be a bit pricey , but it's worth it. However, I noticed a slight difference in the taste of the French fries and the mayonnaise- it wasn't the way it used to be... View menu

We just got back from dinner at Leon's, as recommended by our nearby hotel. The experience was so bad we stopped at McDonald's on the way home. All of the cutlery and glasses were dirty, I had to go round the empty tables to find a clean set. The food was awful, our fries didn't come out with the rest of the food and when they did they seemed stale.

beautiful unexpected evening with my teenagers. reception and irreproachable cleanliness; professionalism and quality of very satisfying products. certe the restaurant wasn't full to crack at the health situation of the moment....but I think the pandemic forces the services and restaurants to re-double seriousness and benevolence....I'll give a note because the director could have come to say hello instead of froncing the eyebrows of his post. bravo bravo good continuation...the €uros left to drink also go to the kitchen because often we forget the warriors in brigade! bernard ertz

"came last night to dinner in the beautiful colmar. we booked a few weeks before the visit, although it was a weekday. but that was good. the place was completely booked, several people were turned away during dinner. staff and owners here are very friendly, very helpful and extremely attentive. you really feel welcome and take care of it. after the complementary amuse bouche we have our starter: the foie gras (ente and gänse.) two generous discs of the best quality. smooth silky, great aromas. it was great. also good to share (because our head was pretty big) then we went to our head: bouillabaisse! a rich fish soup, one of the famous classic French dishes. here it is presented in three portions. So it's a pretty big, filling food. the broth of the suppe itself was really full of wonderful aromas. large equal weight of seasoned and salt. the first plate came with lobster dick. on the side was crispy brot, screed and crushed cheese. put the scab on the brot and the tip it with cheese. put it in the suppe, shake it for a short time and eat. great combination! the second and third portion came with different species of fish. all of high quality. all with very few fish bones. after three plates, each bouillabaisse had disappeared and we were pretty full. a really fantastic meal, great bouillabaisse. it is served only by two people and above. other elements in the menu also looked very good. but perhaps for another time. definitiw a great restaurant. starter, bottle crémant and bouillabaisse for two for about 150 euro. fairer price for a michelin restaurant of this quality. highly recommended."
