"Cute, charming and recommended by a friend, we were excited about the prospect of dining in a authentic bouchon . We really wanted to like this place however we did not have a good dining experience here. Not only was the food just average (with the exception of their house-made fois gras), we also felt that we were treated differently because we were American. On top of that it was empty so I would have thought the service would have been better... or our presence appreciated, nope! Surprised that they have received such rave reviews on this forum."

from the frame, to the reception and animation of the boss, to the staff everything is top. dishes in the pure style of the caps are rich and greedy. service is fast and prices are correct.

So the atmosphere of cork is too much that, spending a good gastronomic moment with the humor of the servers is ideal. Their Lyon salads with large bacon are excellent, a happiness. A somewhat remote address from St. John's Street tumult and it's not worse. Don't hesitate to talk to old papi like they say

Come on! Don't look for other addresses! Stéphane and Philippe are amazing, not being sincerely ALL the team is amazing and contributes to the success of this restaurant! The dishes are generous and so good!!! This is the fact of the house clearly and in the end alone the digo will help you digest such a generous meal! Make your opinion; However, think to book is the key to having a table;

very beautiful place with a superb frame and this beautiful vaulted cellar or you feel good. the reception is hot, we guess that here we also stop the client! side intakes dessert dishes, it is the embarrassment of choice ... that good home products. the eggs of the meurette are sublime and say aprone for amateurs. finish with a baba rum and you're pushed back. What a good time in this establishment!

The waitress was very rude since we came. We asked if they speak in English or they have English menu. He just said shortly speak in French and went to the kitchen. We felt very uncomfortable as we are not even English. Very bad service. Other people were looking at us I think they felt the uncomfortable atmosphere. We liked food photos but if our welcome was like this we didn't even feel like ordering at arrogant restaurant. Good luck with your attitude.

I had the rabbit cake (entree_) and scallops (platin) with local cheese and caramelized cream cake. Hands down the best meal of my life. For some reason it is difficult to find on Google maps; we have found space from our AirBnB owner. Service was also excellent. A family restaurant. The owners do not speak English, but they were as friendly (as we made a reservation that is a MUST) translate the menu for the day (which changes daily) in English for us on a separate menu.

Beautiful and friendly restaurant with authentic French cuisine from the whole family in the kitchen, which is basically part of the restaurant itself. When you visit the (very clean) bathroom, go through the kitchen and past a beautiful lady who wash the dishes. The cook consistently checks whether guests are happy. Either anticipation is this the French hospitality as it should be, and the food is really great. We would always return and you will never regret to end here extremely recommended!

It was magical! Being on holiday and wanting to taste the specialties of Lyon, I highly recommend this cap! The welcome despite a little waiting was pleasant, welcoming, perennial! Servers are jokers, friendly, very good tips! The food is just at the top, tasted, the kitchen is respected, accompanied by treats! The only dish is respect for barrier gestures. We feel the strait and one on the other. And unfortunately, we're chaining people after others... Despite that, I had a good time! Thank you and the pleasure of seeing you again!

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there.We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious.For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable.One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
