"The dishes tasted good and cooking degree perfect, the Chef does have good skills. My observations are:1. Starter "half a Brittany lobster" - if that is a real half lobster, it had to be a baby lobster, indeed there is no size regulation in France in catching lobster!2. We had main courses of John Dory with chick peas and Beef filet with fried potato mash, that's it, you could imagine the dull colours. It is summer and there is not a piece of fresh colourful vegetable or herbs being served. The Chef was very economical with her effort. 3. When the head waiter asked how we feel of the meal, I said gently that there is not a green thing on the plates. That's not his fault, and he could said that he will pass the comment to the Chef, a polite and professional way to handle customer. Instead he shrug his shoulders and said " That's it here !".We have not been so disappointed in a one star restaurant for a long time."

I had a lovely and very enjoyable meal at this restaurant. The restaurant itself is very prived with around 7-8 tables, the dishes are beautiful presented and the waiters gives theirs full attention and make you feel very special . We recommend the set menu.

It was our first time in a Michelin star restaurant but we quite enjoyed ourselves. The staff were very friendly and polite and had better english than our french.Food was very nice and tasted amazing. Its quite relaxed and there is no dress code or anything. Its a little out of town but we walked it in about 25 minutes. We would recommend eating there and it wasnt as expensive as other restaurants. The food here was very good and our waiter, Pierre, seemed a bit brusque at first but came out to be charming.Ambiance is very quiet, but not really romantic because of the decor. The art looked like something you buy at a discount store. More attention needs to be paid to enhance the overall experience. The feel of this small restaurant was lovely, though. You felt the whole team was really dedicated to creating a nice meal.

Tucked away in a remote residential part of Biarritz, this restaurant offers the complete package: great food, great service, nice atmosphere. The dishes are refined and carefully composed: the chef experiments with a range of unusual flavors such as cardamom-infused carrot mash, or popcorn-flavored foam to go with a soft chocolate fondant. And they all work beautifully. We liked the staff, friendly and jovial but discreet and patient with our mistakes with the french language. We definitely recommend this place to whoever enjoys fine dining.

We chose starter, main dish and dessert. The Artichaut/ Foie gras dinner was a great surprise combination of acvery good mixture of tastes. The Tourteau was good, but somewhat more "ordinary". Main dish of pigeon with green asparagus on the site was outstanding. The veal was very good. Chocolate dessert was very good, the strawberry dessert nothing too special but still quite good. Excellent coffee accompanied by a few gourmandises, but not really that special. Nice cosy restaurant. Service was efficient but not particularly friendly. Good wine list. Certainly a Michelin one star restaurant, but somewhat expensive. View menu

My wife and two of our friends had a beautiful lunch here, and thought the food was exquisite but quite expensive. There was no "lunch menu" as such, other than an expensive discovery menu, so we had to order à la carte. Entrées were in the 25-28 euro range; mains were in the 32-46 euro range; and desserts were in the 12-14 euro range. This place has a well-deserved Michelin star, and we found the service friendly and enthusiastic. (Although we couldn't figure out how the maitre d' and our server had never heard of Cava, despite being just a few miles from the Spanish border.) Aside from our table, there was only one other group being served, but a taxi driver later told us that the place is...

Avant gard restaurant serving small portions but great visual presentation on all of the dishes. Several amuse bouches were served as well. My boyfriend started with a cauliflower broth over foie gras that was superb. For his plat, he had a fish dish with numerous accoutrements (beets, vanilla foam, etc.) that on their own were each well prepared and I am sure a lot of work went into its preparation. However, in his opinion it was not a well composed bite because the vanilla seemed out of place and did not compliment the fish and other flavors ingredients. I enjoyed the crab entrée which was beautifully presented and delicious. For my plat I had the roasted veal, which was cooked to perfecti...

"We had only one night to enjoy Biarritz. Our research led us to dine at Le O2 Verdun. It was the perfect choice. Francois took care of us all evening. He was both charming and perfectly attentive. He thoughtfully helped us chose our dishes (there were a couple of additions to the prixe fix menu) and Francois helped describe each dish to us because our French is not so good! The chef/owner is so incredibly talented! This is a Michelin star quality restaurant but it is inexpensive. Don’t let the low fool you! The quality of the dishes and their ingredients was exceptional! Every morsel of every dish was amazing, from the bon bons filled with local cheese and ham that melted in your mouth to the homemade foi gras, to the cod with peppers and spices that were so subtle but perfect, to the calamari special in a garlic sauce that was divine! Their chocolate fondue and brioche French toast were delicious! We were stuffed! All of that deliciousness for less than 60 Euros, 29.90 each! Of course, we paired it all with a variety of white and red wines. Francois was kind enough to help us as we chose each glass to pair with the food. Their wine list was not very extensive, but there were plenty of good choices at more than reasonable prices, both by the glass and by the bottle. If you have one night free in Biarritz, you MUST try this restaurant! You will be so happy you did!"
