"I had no idea this restaurant existed until my neighbour and I saw the sign for it outside Hotel Oasis. We decided to book for lunch and are delighted that we did. The menu features Italian specialities, and both of our meals (a fish main course for one, and beef for the other) were excellent. I'm thrilled to know that I have a wonderful Italian chef practically on my doorstep.The prices are correct for the quality as well — approximately for fish and meat courses. I look forward to warmer weather when we can dine outside. The restaurant is in the same room where hotel breakfasts are served, so while the decor is lovely, it's a little dark. Also, there's a hot beverage vending machine in the room, spoiling the ambience a bit. Nevertheless, I'll certainly return, whether I eat inside or outside. Complimenti allo chef!"

Small restaurant outdoor in a quiet courtyard in Musiciens area of Nice. Menu is offering a good choice and we took a mixed grilled fish. Extremely rich and full of different kind of grilled fishes. Various home made desserts. Friendly service.

Crab and tuna starters, beef and chicken main courses. This restaurant is now part of domaine Barbossi. We used to come to the old l’oasis so were apprehensive but that was misplaced. They’ve done a wonderful job bringing the restaurant up to date . Service is impeccable as always. Delicious food great wine list. What a treat. We’ll be back.

We had a delicious dinner at the l'Oasis dining outside. Dining is set in a quiet garden secluded from any street noise or bustle. We had a nice dinner of veal slices with lime accents and tempura vegetables (all perfect) and a parchment cooked seafood and pasta dish with a yummy sauce and well cooked seafood. Along with some house rose and a wonderful raspberry cake (truly like a meringue) for dessert. Service was attentive and our meal very relaxed and satisfying.

In my opinion it is the best restaurant in Nice. Everything we ate there was delicious. The cook is a passionate and creative genius. I could eat his salmon tartar everyday, but it never looked or tasted the same. It was always something new about the dish, but always incredibly tasty. That was true for everything we ate there. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone, who is looking for a real gastronomic delight and don't wanna waste time and money on the restaurants of questionable quality for the tourists.
