"We are lovers of Indian cuisine, know all Indian restaurants in the Nuremberg/Neumarkt/Schwabach area and wanted to try this relatively new restaurant. The Maharaja has thrilled us so that we eat here regularly. We found the German service very well. We were greeted and asked if we were here for the first time and would like some general information on Indian cuisine. We've been chasing, though we know each other, and we've learned a lot of interesting things. For newcomers of these culinary delights certainly very helpful, for example why there are no dishes with pigs or beef. We then said that everyone except me would eat buffet and I was invited immediately that despite a separate order, I would like to taste the buffet and drink it at no cost. I was thrilled, because in various Asian restaurants you are very keenly addressed when you try the dishes of a buffet-eating companion. My family has eaten buffet salads, appetizers, three meat dishes, three vegetarian dishes, various supplements, desserts and ice cream. All were highly enthusiastic about the quality of freshly prepared dishes and the rich offer. I have many food incompatibility and I often rely on custom made kitchens. So I ordered á la carte. A fish dish that was freshly prepared for me without gluten and lactose. It tasted wonderful, and I've done everything super. Everyone finds something here because all dishes are also prepared on request: vegetarian vegan lactose-free gluten-free not even sharp extra sharp ... The Indian cuisine requires a lot of dedication and time, which you taste here. The prices are absolutely in line with the cost and amount of food offered. We even wondered if this is really lucrative... We always like to come back:"

The restaurant was redesigned by a former pizzeria with Indian cloths. The cloths should be washed more often. Nothing for house dust allergy. Buffet for small price. Taste not breathtaking.

We had the buffet as a connoisseur of Indian cuisine, however, we needed a little to make friends. Tastefully not too sharp, but rather to German taste buds, the 6 different dishes, different appetizers, various supplements, different desserts have made us. The food was good, the service perfect prices cheap

They do not suspect it from outside, but a very good meal. Something in German, but good. Service by the boss himself surprisingly good and fast. We ordered the card perfectly. There is also a buffet, but we generally reject it. So no rating. One more word to the institution. That's so cheesy that it's beautiful again. Unfortunately, Indian music is missing. Then everything would be perfect.

We were here for lunch. It consists of salad, appetizer fried vegetables, 3 vegetarian dishes and 3 variations with chicken or Putmeat. For dessert 2 variants of canned fruit with mangoyogurt or yogurt and cream. For 13,50 €! We found the dishes too little seasoned, but we like to eat sharp and strong. Everything tasted similar to us. The service probably chief was very friendly and accommodating.

I cannot judge the institution and the ambience as we have decided to take two dishes. We like to eat very good Indian (also very sharp) and are familiar with Indian cuisine. The staff was very friendly and the food was still hot at home. Unfortunately both dishes lacked the pepp and also the wort. The lamb was also a bit hard. It is nice that we have received fresh chili from the Lord. The food was fine, but unfortunately not more than average.

Eat well. The menu is huge you hardly know what to eat. There is also buffet (we have not tried). It looked good. The deko is a bit exaggerated as you know from Indian restaurants. The staff nice but too intrusive! It was terrible. He always came under the food and wanted to explain something to us, the climax was then as he took a bread!!! from my teller and showed me how to be Indian with the hand and did not give up until I tried it. Eating was really great and sooo good but no never again.

With a group in front of n 6 friends we met for the first time at 6:00 a.m. a friendly reception of the boss with the indication that the buffet is filled out only from 6:30 p.m. The loving Indian decoration creates an atmosphere for an Indian evening ... the appetizer buffet, followed by 6 main dishes and the desserts are really typical Indian, tastefully very successful ... one of our friends has not eaten the evening buffet, but eaten by the card... and had to wait for the fully occupied restaurant. We're going back...

As a vegetarian, I like to go to the Indian. For me, the Maharaja in Berg is one of the best Indian restaurants that I know, which is why, despite further arrival, we often eat there. The restaurant is easy to reach and you can easily park in front of the front door. You can find yourself in typical Indian ambience and choose between rich card and buffet. The latter is great if you cannot decide or want to gain an insight into the Indian variety of tastes as a newcomer. The boss likes to advise and also goes on special requests regarding sharpness, taste and ingredients. The food is super seasoned and is always freshly prepared and you taste it!! For me the reason to come here again and agai...

The Maharaja can also be called all you can eat restaurant. There are spicing cards, but the service always presupposes the buffet at which it says and writes 30! If you want to choose something on the map, the buffet is recommended again. It would be cheaper and it is almost all included on the map. In any case, the hot buffet is pure. I don't know where there are 30 different dishes. This is simply not true. Unless one counts every single sauce and every single type of ice. Maybe you get to 30. The food is not bad. But after the third visit, I still had the feeling that the chefs don't want to cook anything other than their buffet. Then they shouldn't offer it! The food is finally allowed...

"Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch. This was our first time visiting and we were pleasantly surprised. We don 't eat fish, but they did have a lot of fish/italian plates if thats what you seek. We were in the area and decided to try this place for lunch. When we walked in the matron advised they were nearly closed, however, she has the manager if it was alright for us to eat and he came out and talked to us and said yes, we could eat. He was very kind. The matron sat us, supplied us with drinks and a bread basket immediately and also brought us the large specials chalkboard to review, a very kind gesture. After placing our order with the manager we enjoyed the atmosphere. Its bright and classy. The place settings at each table were beautiful done. I would recommend this place for a quaint romantic dinner date. The restrooms are also very clean. What I appreciated the most was the thoughtful display of a small glass bowl in each stall with free feminine products. Its not something they had to do, but its very kind of them to think of women in that kind of emergency situation. My husband ordered the RibEye steak and I ordered Ravioli Truffels. We each shared our meals and really enjoyed the steak the most. It was cooked to medium, as requested with a pink center and extremely juicy flavor. Finding a steak cooked to this level of american style perfection is hard to find, especially in a town so close to us. Now we know where to go for a decent Ribeye. As for the ravioli truffels, the flavor was decent, presentation simple and elegant but the sauce was overpowered with butter. I would order the Ribeye next time we go, and we will go again. As for the service, it was prompt and kind. We really enjoyed our first lunchtime experience (went around 1400 uhr) and we will go back again to try more dishes."
