Marea - Menu

The food is amazing, high quality food and homemade. Wines at affordable prices. The service is great, really made the difference. Looking foreward to come again in this lovely Italian place.

Avoid at all costs all the food is from Iceland and just put in a microwave The sangria was just watered-down red wine the calamari was reconstituted, I didn't even know they made it like that And if they owner replies like he has to other reviews insulting the customers (I have enough money to buy his restaurant but I wouldn't want to)

We visited Marea just two weeks after it opened in November. It is only quite small but we were given a big welcome from the very attentive staff. They could not have been more friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. We are returning to Tenerife again in February and will definitely go there for dinner again.

It was a 2nd times I visited this restaurant and I'm already planning to go back again. I had a beef steak tartare then a pappardelle with duck ragu sauce, OMG !!! Both were so tasty and nicely presented. The staff is very friendly they are always ready to assist you in case you have any question. I highly recommend to everyone to visit this restaurant.

... Nice and cute restaurant, I went there with my girlfriend and we loved it!! The service and the food was excellent!! We had a Tuna tartar and an asparagus suffle to start and as main course we had Spaghetti seafood. Another good point of this restaurant is the wine list, they got a big selection of Wine espacially Italian an spanish one... I really recommend it!!!

Booked this small restaurant for a family of 6 which had very few reviews. Turns out it has only been open a few months. The food and service was simply excellent. Small menu but everything was fresh and delicious. The waiter (maybe owner) was delightful and made us feel very special. Recommend the Reserva Rioja which at € 29 was very good value. The tuna Tatar was delicious as was the mushroom pappardelle. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

We were looking for the pizzeria but we’re so glad they were busy as it led us to this us to this wonderful place. Super friendly staff recommended a delicious local red to accompany some of the best croquettes I’ve ever had the pleasure to stuff in my face and they were accompanied by a wonderful pecorino and black pepper dip. 6 delicious oysters followed and then some simply amazing pasta (duck ragu for my wife and truffle and porcini mushroom for me). Incredible! Can’t recommend this place enough and we’re heading back tomorrow so we can swap dishes!

Visiting caleta for the first time we have been trying out different restaurants at the coast but tonight decided to walk into the residential area. We had seen this place on TripAdvisor and though not many reviews it looked promising. We were not disappointed! The girl waiting on us (only one, but still she made a point of making us feel welcome, topping up our drinks and making time for friendly chatter) was a great host. The food was really delicious. We had the pork cheek and duck breast both tender and tasty and well presented. With a great selection of wines for a very good price a real must go!

After seeing the reviews of Marea on TripAdvisor my wife and I decided to look for the restaurant in La Caleta. After 2 abortive attempts we had almost given up. We were eating at Le Petit Bistro at La Caleta(again another excellent meal) and I enquired the Marea’s location. To my surprise I was informed it was right next door but is now called Le Petit Italianne. It would appear it opened and closed quite quickly and then reopened under new ownership. We booked to eat there the night after and were satisfied with the food and service. The starters seem identical to its next door neighbour but the mains are pasta but not pizza based. We will be eating there again
