Marino's Fish - Menu

My boyfriend and I both had the haddock and chips and now we have food poisoning.

The restaurant has a fantastic and welcoming staff, and the fish and chips are excellent!

We made a special trip to have lunch at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and welcoming.

Really tasty food, I think quite expensive though (three SMALL cod and chips plus an extra chips cost over £30?! . Good to try but will probably find somewhere cheaper next time.

We ordered a medium cod and it was huge. It tasted lovely too The only problem we found was that we sat underneath the air conditioning unit and it looked dirty and there was a big cob web hanging down that touched us when we sat down. View menu

Whilst all the food is quickly prepared, hot and tasty, the portions are pretty small. A medium cod chips from my local chippy is easily enough for two, but the equivalent here is a goldfish with a handful of chips. For the price you don't get a lot.

Staff are really friendly! We ordered medium cod and chips which was a big portion of chips but the cod was a bit on the smaller side for it being medium. Curry sauce wasn’t good at all, very watery but nice flavours. The interior was a little old, but still nice. With the rest of the area being so cute and retro I was expecting the interior of the place to be a little better. But it was comfortable and had surprisingly loads of seating! Overall I’d go back, but I wouldn’t order the curry sauce again.

Very nice fish and chips! It was busy when we went on a Saturday afternoon and the waiter seemed very rushed, but did a great job and we had our food in about ten minutes. Also sells beer and wine. Only small area to improve was the size of the medium cod as you can see it's pretty tiny. I'm only mentioning it as I saw someone else's medium cod go past which was twice the size, so think I was just unlucky. It was only £1.50 more for the (huge) large cod so I'll do that next time!
