"Marino's food used to be fabulous... however, seemingly no longer! We have been dozens of times over the years, and was the family's favourite. On the recent visit, the chips were crispy and delicious but the batter on the cod was pale, soft, and porridge-like on the underside. The piece of cod itself was ok but not great. The side orders of onion rings were underwhelming and, at 80p each for what were the frozen, cheap kind, it was disappointing. The staff were friendly but, at £20+ per person for fish, chips and a soft drink, this isn't much of a consolation."

We ordered on-line and the food was ready very promptly. Everyone enjoyed it. The only disadvantage is that you can't stop outside although we did manage to stop just up the road.

We are so lucky to have a chippy like Marinos in our town! Delicious food, and great service. Always fresh fish. Avoid the queue by calling to order in advance your food will be waiting with a smile!

We ordered a medium cod and it was huge. It tasted lovely too The only problem we found was that we sat underneath the air conditioning unit and it looked dirty and there was a big cob web hanging down that touched us when we sat down.
