Absolutely excellent pub! The menu is above average, and the prices are exceptionally low. The service is first-class, and I can't praise this establishment enough. It truly is exemplary!

booked a table quite late, but was accommodated and had beautiful hot meal with desert, service was great, beautiful dame behind the bar,promised to visit again in september. try the chicken and hamcake, mumie!

I can't say anything negative about this place. The staff is incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. We both ordered the mixed grill, and it was fantastic—generous portions and very tasty! This was our first visit, even though we don't live too far away, and we will definitely be coming back.

I've been banging with my partner to eat at lunchtime. the staff was very friendly and very courteous. I had the vegetarian burger with wobble rings, and my partner chose the gammon, everything was well presented and even better costed. the food came out immediately, so that it didn't wait long at all. would recommend this place. can't wait to come back!

The lobster Mac and cheese was recommended to us however for a main course it was starter size and for £12.95 we felt not value for money at all. Also it only has lobster flavouring (which was explained to us) but we were told 'loads ' of king prawns, they were small and not many of them. Shame because it was tasty, just tiny! The southern fried chicken burger was really nice but chips underwhelming.

the meal was nice, we asked for pudding, but said no, because the ones were shut down, although not need one of a lot for ice. What it was covered was rejected another drink and said we're sorry to close at 9-45. I understand time is hard, but be grateful that they just pay customers a little nicer, I would say next time, but we're sorry that we don't come back. we booked on the line, so if they were problems in the night a bit communication would not have gone from a miss, we could book our table earlier.

what a fantastic evening, our visit. the staff was very friendly and accommodating. eating was very good and a great selection of pub style classic. I had the speckkäseburger who was bigger than I expected. my partner had the lasagne who in her words was one of the best she ever had. the atmosphere was great with beautiful background music. the toilets were nice and clean. it felt definitiw as at home from home with all Christmas decorations. we would highly recommend a visit and we will definitely return very soon.

telephoned to confirm the table day before, and to give preorder of food on Christmas menu. it was said that I didn't need it. when we arrived, they were very good on Friday 23rd at 18:30. we went to the bar to order drinks and food. prawan behind the bar, called to the manager about chrsitmas eating, was said to order before the arrival before the order, told them that I called the day before and a preorder was not necessary. no apologies, nothing, trying to blame who I spoke to on the phone the day before. they said they didn't have enough camps. we have gone out. very dissapointed. will not be back.

Last week, we enjoyed a lovely evening at The Masons. The steak pie was fantastic—really flavorful and hearty. My partner had the Cambodian curry, which he found to be very tender and delicious. The staff were all friendly and attentive, and we didn’t have to wait long for drinks or service. Overall, it was a great experience. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews; we have friends who frequent this place and recommended it to us. Perhaps some people just need to be a bit more friendly to help keep the pub thriving. We will definitely be returning! Thank you for a delightful evening—and for the brownie; it was divine!
