"Nothing special, fish batter soggy and half a smoked sausage, should state that on menu.. Server's touching money on till then without washing hands proceeds to touch and wrap up food not very hygienic, and touching her pierced nose disgusting..Staff should also be wearing hair nets as long hair hanging down over your food is not a good combination. Slow to get food ordered in advance."

Liked it, was surprised they also had the details of the boat which brought the fish in.

Absolutely delicious fish and chips, worth the trip to Inverness. The waiting time reflected on how popular the shop is, and how freshly cooked the fish and chips are, too. Would definitely recommend this as a meal stop while visiting Inverness or to locals yet to discover Mcleod's.

Ordered a Haddock supper. Fish batter was the greasiest I've ever had. Chips were ok. Asked for plenty of salt and vinegar which I watched being put on but I don't know what happened to it as I couldn't taste it. Maybe the taste of the batter grease overpowered it. If this is the best chippy in Inverness then I'd hate to see the rest.
