Not bad at allA dark, intimate spot in a useful location with good cocktails and polite staff.

We went here after the horrible cocktails at another nearby bar, and I'm glad to know it exists.

Small, intimate, cosy basement bar with cinema/film theme for the decor. Great escape from hectic King's Cross above, good deal using the 50% off food which tasted good. Cocktails done well.

cocktails with friends after the work had a really nice barmaid who made very original and delicious cocktails, and seemed quiet and secluded (big given its location.) slightly expensive but nevertheless good.

Great decor, really good attention to detail great bar staff, sebastian was really chatting and made a great array of cocktails explaining what went into each. great location easy to find, but had a hidden away feel. at 6pm on a friday night wasn't too busy at all View menu

an empty restaurant has never been a good sign in my book, especially in a busy area like King’s cross, but karpo turned out to be a pleasant experience. the mood was beautifully set by the low lighter (even if this really completely messes my pictures as they are all blurry – I refuse to use flash.)

terrible. I have booked this bar for a drink with my partner for our new years eve celebrations. then I called them 10 minutes before the arrival to let them know that we would be there 5 minutes after the timetable to find out that the bar was completely closed by the most likely rude guest I would ever come on the phone, who fought clearly with English and could not explain why the bar was advertising available seated on silvester. the bar was not even shown as closed on its website as well as open table, which is a shameful and time-consuming. that then meant that I had to find a last minute of cash elsewhere and left me in fowl mood. Thank you.

I went last week in a group of four to megaro and a good time was from all of us. I would not recommend this bar to anyone who had a loud or rudering night in the environment was calm, relaxing, chilled. as I and my friends like it! a nice little bar to meet with friends and hear them speak. but only damper in the evening is that we seemed to visit when the bar felt a bit in limo no eating (not even chips) because they were between the dishes, and the drinks menu seemed quite limited, they had the bog standard classic plus a few more, but nothing, that was as tempting as the menu on the website! pity because the bar looks beautiful and the staff was very friendly.
