"Metaxa has been a popular, established restaurant in Laatzen for many years. The extensive menu is very versatile and offers typical local cuisine, German and international cuisine. In summer, the large, covered outdoor terrace invites you. Wells, flowers and shaded trees promise a pleasant visit. In the restaurant there is a standing ground floor and, of course, seats on 4s and 6s tables. The facility is rustic, dark woods. Upstairs accessible via a staircase, a large space well usable for groups and of course also for individuals. In addition, there is a smoking room which is not used, but who wants to smoke goes outside the door to the terrace ... The clean kitchen can be viewed from the stand stand for the guest. All meals are also sold outside the house and can be ordered either by phone or on site with a small waiting period. Staff are very friendly and attentive, special requests are welcome ... : recommended!"

My main restaurant unfaked! The plates are overcrowded, the salad with the most delicious salad sauce I know. There are many regular guests there, on weekends should arrange a table for more than 4 people.

Something to prepare came in the years, but still very cozy. Eat as always and always really well. It's good too. In the summer you can eat beautiful outside. All recommended. Service also friendly! Parking enough available.

No matter when we visited this restaurant, we are always happy. I think the best Greek in the whole region. What I am very pleased, delicious new Greek desserts and at this time there are shells as a recommendation that are also prepared with a delicious garlic sauce. Up and on.

Eat doesn't taste bad, but unfortunately no supplements like zaziki or other sauces so that the gyros would not be too dry... otherwise unfortunately all the food I've eaten until now there were much too dry... and therefore, unfortunately, the price/performance ratio... too expensive for such a dry eating... very bad

We have known the restaurant since its foundation and have always been extremely satisfied with the food quality, atmosphere and service. In the meantime we have moved out of Laatzen and we must say that we have not found the standard of Metaxa at other Greek restaurants. We can only recommend this restaurant. Hanno and Rolf.

Metaxa, the Greek in Laatzen. You can't really expect specialties here. The menu is well equipped, the prices are fine. The dishes are absolutely fine, the portions usually large. A salad is offered in advance and an ouzo on request. Not suitable for wheelchair users! The services are usually friendly and it does not have to be waited for too long. You can also pick up the dishes. In short call, place order and usually after 15 to 20 minutes you can accept the order. Here you can also dust an ouzo on request.

I was there for the first time. The food is fine, but not special. Otherwise it is lacking in the restaurant to put others. e.g. There was no reception, we had to talk to someone and ask for a table. It should be different in a restaurant. But the worst thing I found was that the walls, heating thermostats and wooden beams are dirty. With a damp napkin, I easily got the old nicotine from the wall. It is not allowed to smoke in the restaurant, which indicates how long it has been cleansed superficially. I do not recommend it.

"The hotel is located outside Hanover in the south (Laatzen City), convenient to the fairs. We arrived on time at 12:00 and crashed into a family party. A glass of champagne, optionally with orange juice, was offered to us. Shortly afterwards, the first glasses were broken. It was very close when everyone was standing. The champagne was, according to the mainstream, only dry, i.e. nearly 30 g of sugar in the liter. But at least he was really cold. The tables were festively covered with fresh roses and lots of glass calottes. The water (Förstina sprudel classic) was put in a napkin dressing the cooler (very good solution). The beautiful cream-colored napkins were folded as compartments, the cutlery flashy. Of course there were only water shakers for salt and pepper. After all, real candles stuck in the wall lamps. The broth was served around 13:00 (Lower Saxony wedding soup with mettballs, egg engraving, asparagus pieces and asterisk noodles). She was extremely good and almost glowing (this is a basic requirement in good-bourgeois houses). Egg stabs and metts were made. Before the soup, wine was offered and presented. The young ladies from the service (excellently in brocaded green tops, combined with a long dark skirt and an even longer carted apron) quickly made the round with two bottles (Trittenheimer Altärchen Kabinett Riesling semi-dry and Pfälzer Merlot, Deutsches Weintor). Both were well tempered. The main court arrived at 14:00. Duett vom Rinder- und Schweinfilet mit Whiskyrahmsoße, Pommes dauphin, Salzkartoffeln und bunter Vegetableplatte, also on request Pommes frites. These and the excellent Pommes dauphin were home-made, the salt potatoes were not worth the speech, the meat was rather dead-fried (that is, in people beyond the 80 it is not possible to say otherwise). The sauce was very reminded of bag, the vegetable plate was very nice with finger tubes, freezer blossoms, bacon wrapped bacon, broccoli and cauliflower cabbage with brown semmelbbles and fresh Chamignons. Relaying was offered permanently. Wine was presented quickly. The water bottle in the cooler before me was replaced when the first was still filled to a third. This third I was really cold and thought that the empty bottle would now be removed. Missing. She stood before my plate until the end of the main dish. For dessert I had no capacity anymore."

"It was our second visit at this restaurant and I was excited that we managed to get a table as the restaurant is tiny and sometimes rather difficult to get a table. Anyway my boyfriend ordered Pasta and I ordered a Pizza. The pasta was...served first and my boyfriend wanted to wait a couple of minutes until my Pizza was served before starting to eat. One of the owners noticed that he was waiting and told my boyfriend to start eating because my pizza was going to take longer to be served and he insinuated that my boyfriend will complain that his pasta was cold and he didn't want to deal with any complaints! I was shocked to hear such a thing coming from the owner himself but unfortunately this was not the end of the weird experience. I had also asked the waitress for my pizza to be sliced in the kitchen as my handarm are currently injured. The owner said that it was my fault that the pizza took longer to be served because I wanted it to be sliced already! This was another stupid, inappropriate joke at the wrong timing. I wanted to simply eat in peace and this was not really possible thanks to inappropriate humour. Ah and also, the restaurant is very small and very full most of the times and on this day the waitress decided to use a very intensive and strong perfume, which you could smell every time she walked by. It smelt like Abercrombie Fitch and this is not what one wants to smell while eating. So it will just be take away food for us whenif I get over this! Pity."
