"We tried to go here, twice. It had good reviews, but when we entered, the staff did not even acknowledge us. We stood there, two separate times for 3-5 minutes and no one greeted us in any way...They were busy, but 4 different people/staff were literally walking around us and ignoring us! Unbelievable. Later we asked a local, and she said the same thing (that the food is good, but the staff are incredibly rude)...Life is too short to put up with treatment like that! So, we went 3 blocks away to a wonderfully friendly restaurant with good food - "Film Taverne" with good Bavarian fare and pizza. I would recommend to go there instead!"

"Ich wohne in Tutzing und schätze dieses Restaurant sehr. Der Biergarten ist gemütlich, das Interieur hat einen netten alternativen Charme. Alles ist angenehm normal, vor allem im Kontrast zum sonstigen hochpreisigen Starnberger-See-Umfeld.Wirklich bemerkenswert ist, dass die Küche sehr originell und international ist, und trotzdem fehlen die Klassiker eines bürgerlichen Wirtshauses nicht. Also große Vielfalt vom (riesigen) Schnitzel Wiener Art bis zum raffinierten marokkanischen Linsengericht, dank wechselnder Tageskarte aber auch noch ein übersichtliches Angebot, und das alles zu sehr vernünftigen Preisen.Gutes Bier (Unertl-Weißbier) und normalerweise netter Service (wobei man an besonders überlaufenen Sommertagen auch mal mit gestresstem Personal rechnen muss).Insgesamt einer der Lieblingsplätze in Tutzing."

"Es könnte so schön sein! Ich habe selten so ein arrogantes und unhöfliches Servicepersonal angetroffen. Nur ein Beispiel: Bei der Frage nach einem zweiten Teller, um die Vorspeise mit meiner Frau zu teilen, wurden wir mit einem „nein“ konfrontiert und der anschließenden Aussage, dass wir dann mehr bezahlen müssten. Wir waren beide einfach nur sprachlos. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt wurden wir auch nicht mehr bedient, woraufhin wir unser Verbleib im Restaurant beendeten und zum Zahlen an die Kasse mussten. Diese Geschichte wird uns noch eine ganze Weile in Erinnerung bleiben! Sehr schade, da der Golfplatz echt sehr schön ist."

"Located on West side of Lake Starnberg, Forsthaus am See is a very nice lakeside restaurant located in Feldafing. We went for dinner with a large group of 20+ persons. They had set up large tables outside on the waterside. Throughout the evening, service was excellent. We started the evening with a few of the hotels special cocktails. Most of our group had a mixed plate starter that included beef, hams and salad. For my main course I tried the tuna steak. The preparation was great. Dessert was equally well prepared. The only drawback for the evening was the number of mosquitos that frequent the Starnberg lake area. Overall we had an excellent meal with personalized service."
