Capriccio und Labskaus geteilt als Vorspeise .Gute Portionen und sehr,sehr lecker.danach als Hauptgang verschiedene Steakgerichte.perfekt in Garzeit und Geschmack.Service gekonnt und sehr freundlich.Ein toller Abend.wir kommen gerne wieder trotz 90 km An/Abfährt.Sehr zu empfehlen."

"We are visitors from England and usually stay in Kevelaer about once a year always paying a visit to the Goldener Swan as we have found it so good.This year was a little more problematic as my wife has developed a serious food intolorance to anything the slightest citrus. We chose a venison casserole and asked the waiter to check with the chef that there was nothing in the meal that could be problematic and he returned a couple of minutes later with a sheaf of paper re-assuring us that there were no ingredients that could cause a problem. There were three of us and we all ordered the venison casserole which after a few minutes arrived each with a slice of orange garnish. At first the waiter suggested that we just remove the garnish but eventually realised that the food was contaminated and we did get a replacement meal for my wife.This spoiled our evening as the omission was so unnecessary as some one was not really listening to us. There was no language problem as one of the three of us speaks fluent German, I speak acceptable German and the waiter spoke perfect English.The meal however was wonderful as it always is and on on our next visit I am sure that I can award full marks as I could always have done on all past visits, it is such a shame that this last time was the only one that was not perfect."

"After an annulled flight, my accompaniment and I arrived at this nice place at short notice to take a coffee to us. The service was very friendly and the drinks came very fast. In addition to the ordered (although reasonably priced) drinks we got a free egg liqueur with cream delicious! We recommend this little jewel in Kevelaer."

"Ich verstehe nicht, wie dieser Ort Jagd auf 23 oder Mitternacht am Freitag oder Samstag Abend beginnen. Wenn die Arbeit Ablösung an den Wochenenden würde ich für einen Drink mit den Kollegen / Freunde gehen und ihre rechtzeitige fühlten sie geschlossen wurden, wenn sie auf der Website sagt es um 2 Uhr nachts geschlossen wird. mehr als im letzten Mitternacht Samstag jagten uns entfernt und der Eigentümer oder aber der Oberkellner ich ihn in Kevelaer auf einer Party gesehen. Ich würde für die Kunden, dass der Mangel an Respekt sagen."

"Italian restaurants are a favourite of mine and I have been lucky enough to enjoy a few across the planet including in the home country! So I feel a little qualified to compare and Piazza comes up with an ideal combination. One can eat real quality at very low prices or celebrate with more ambitious dishes for a little more which pays for the very high quality. The location and ambience in a charming country town all add to the attraction, which is why we drove almost an hour on a strong recommendation to have dinner. Welcoming friendly and flexible service which reacts quickly when something needs adjusting is always in tune. It is genuine cooking with wonderful Italian ingredients in a simple but intimate atmosphere. Whether enjoying the antipasti for 2 or enjoying truffle homemade ravioli or the excellent saltimbocca - it all does the soul good! Great restaurant which we will introduce to others."
