"As a family of 4 we had a 3 course meal each and it was simply amazing. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the beef stroganoff was so rich and tastful and the carbonara was demolished in 5 minutes. We also had the garlic mushrooms to start, the parma ham dish and the mozzarella which was so good. We decided to have 4 of the desserts so we could all try it...the salted caramel cheesecake, limencello ice cream, chocolate fudge cake and the chocolate profiteroles.... We're just gutted we live 2.5hrs away. The service was amazing and the food was on point!"

"We had a lunch to celebrate being able to get out together for a Christmas treat. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and provided excellent service. One of our group members was feeling unwell, but the staff on duty were incredibly kind and helpful. The food was well-presented and suited our budget perfectly, with a good selection on the fixed menu. Due to Covid restrictions, the restaurant was quite quiet and lacked atmosphere through no fault of the staff. We will definitely visit again."

"I went with my Italian woman to ciao napoli to lunch in the last summer. the food was excellent and the service was also excellent. I want to go back. I was very surprised by the restaurant, it was my first time there. it is very atmospheric in an old building in a small room with beautiful old wood panel. it reminded me of the old town in edinburgh. a hidden gem in gray granite of the godless."

"Top class Indian food experience enjoyed last Saturday at the Yasmin restaurant in East Horsley, Surrey, UK. Very tasty blend of spices throughout the dishes we had. Perfectly balanced tarka dhal. Good range of different vegetables in the vegetable pathia, Tender, well cooked lamb in the lamb rezala which was also delicately balanced in terms chili strength. Would highly recommend a visit to this exceptionally good restaurant, serving authentic Indian food."

Drinks and food were served very quickly after ordering, and both the pizza and pasta dishes as well as the meat dish were very delicious. The prices are completely reasonable considering the quality and service. "We had been enjoying delicious meals at Portofino New Brighton for several months, but unfortunately, our recent experience has left us hesitant to return. While the food quality is typically excellent and the staff are usually attentive and helpful, we encountered some issues with a young Italian waiter who struggled with English. This language barrier led to confusion with our orders, as he often had to consult with his manager. On our most recent visit, it was the manager who took our orders, but there were discrepancies with the dishes we received. My partner's Sea Bass came with a sauce not listed on the menu, and she suspected it may not have been Sea Bass at all. The manager insisted it was, but mentioned that they sometimes change sauces without prior notice, which seemed unusual to us. Additionally, I received Ravioli instead of the Canneloni dish I had ordered, but opted not to complain after the confusion with my partner's meal. Unfortunately, the manager failed to follow up on our concerns and we left feeling disappointed. Due to this strange behavior, we have decided not to return to the restaurant and caution others to ensure their orders are accurate before accepting them. It is disappointing that Portofino New Brighton does not address customer feedback, as it suggests a lack of concern for their patrons. It is important for them to prioritize customer satisfaction and communication to avoid similar incidents in the future."

"I booked this meal for my boyfriends birthday when booking our trip to Berlin. I had eaten at Jostys before and had a very enjoyable meal and I had checked the website for the same meal which I recommended to my boyfriend and our friends. When we were seated and given menus the menu presented to us was not reflective of the website and unfortunately as someone who is gluten intolerant I could not eat the majority of the menu. I was then offered the choice of fries or what seemed like a very overpriced steak dinner. Needless to say we left without eating. The waitress was very understanding and kind about the situation and stated that the restaurant menu had completely changed however the manager would not/has not changed the online menu. Very disappointed."

"Last weekend, I visited this restaurant with my family and I cannot express enough how impressed I was with the restaurant and the staff. The waiters were friendly and accommodating throughout our visit. As someone with severe allergies, I was grateful for the care they took in adapting my dish from the menu to ensure it was safe for me to eat. "cafe citta is a tiny little restaurant that is worn away and is very inconspicuous. if they have not made extensive food research, they might miss it at the end because it looks impressing from the outside. I recommend to them however to go an effort because if they are looking for authentic Italian food in cardiff, cafe citta should definitely do on their list! atmosphere: it is a very small restaurant with barely walking. the tables are small and crampy, so when they come with more than 3 people, I recommend to them a booking well in advance. but despite being small, the decoration is really charming. it felt more like going into someone's living room than a real restaurant! there were flowers each table with beautiful wooden tables, whose table legs were decorated in very ornate style, and cool paintings on the wall as well! customer service: excellent, could not be better. not only the personal friendly, but they were also very attentive and made sure that our table was well clarified without having to say anything at all! Food: that was excellent. as an appetizer we had the caprese, which was fresh buffalo mozzarella with a beautiful sauce and fresh tomato. the mozzarella was fantastic and really very fresh. we also ordered the polenta al ragu and the bolognese soße, which accompanied the polnta was fantastic! for a pornstar, I ordered the pollo alla romana, which was a whole chicken breast with sage, parma ham, and a side of kartoffel and salat boiled. we also had a garlic pizza to share. they gave us chili oil and parmesan on the side for extra spices. everything was great! I am usually not too excited to order chicken breast in a restaurant, but it was extremely juicy I didn't know that chicken breast could be so tender! there were great aromas everywhere. the only negatiw is that I recommend to give them the garlic pizza. it was quite bland and needed half a quantity of chili oil and parmesan to save it. overall I recommend cafe citta. next time, I would try one of her pasta dishes, how my partner swept over his tagliatelle carbonara!"

"We chose this restaurant as we were staying close by at the Best Western Hotel, and reviews seemed good. Booked online and revived a timely confirmation by text message very quick and easy. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated and the ambience is lovely. Staff also very welcoming and friendly! Menu is extensive with lots of choice; I’m a huge pasta lover and it took me a while to decide on what I wanted. I opted for the calamari starter and OH had the deep fried mozzarella. Calamari arrived hot and good portion size with wonderful dip and side salad. It was however a little rubbery and I suspect was frozen rather than fresh. Fried mozzarella was delicious! For mains I had the linguine salmone and OH has the chorizo calzone. The salmon was divine! So much flavour and the pasta was perfectly cooked in a sauce that was light and balanced. My OH’s calzone was absolutely MASSIVE! He said it was the best calzone he’s ever had the pasty was amazing, very light. Because we were both so full we shared dessert of profiteroles, and these were delicious too. Quite a large portion with plenty of cream and chocolate sauce; delicious! Prices are great value for money! I would highly recommend this restaurant; a great find!"

"After a very good afternoon doing the Potter Trail, we came across this wee gem. I was with my Daughter, Son in law and Granddaughter and newly born Grandson. We were made to feel very welcome and the food was to die for. We had a starter of Calamari and Mussles, both were fantastic. I had a calzone pizza which i have to say has been the best i have ever tasted. Compliments from daughter of her pizza and son in law polished his off in no time. Staff were fantastic, on the ball, very friendly and attentive. Would certainly recommend, and we will certainly be back soon."

"The table was good. Our main course was served with the remark “the appetizer is the same”. We ordered them. The pasta dishes were not dressed nicely.
