"I got up too late for our free breakfast at the hotel, the wife was up early enough for her to get fed, and I was craving American type of breakfast so did a search on the WWW and found Mr. Pancake. We got there and one woman was wearing every hat. Cooking, cleaning, taking orders, taking money with no help from anyone so I have no complaints about the wait that we had. She was doing all that she could. The place only seats 16 people inside and maybe 8 more outside and there were 6 others inside and 2 outside during my visit. Very simple menu but had what I was seeking. I ordered the 3 pancakes with sausage and 2 eggs. I was able to eat 2/3 with the 2nd third going down just due to gluttony because I was full much earlier. The pancakes were very thick and filling. Loved the sausage although they fooled me at first as they looked like mini pancakes so the flavor through me off. I prefer to give my money to small family run businesses which I am sure this is. Next visit I will bring someone to help me eat it all as my wife was already filled up from her meal before we left. Very good value."

Dieses Lokal ist wirklich ein Geheimtipp. Wer Pancakes liebt ist hier genau am richtigen Ort. Das Lokal ist schlicht gehalten und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Der einzige Minuspunkt war, dass keine Toiletten vorhanden gewesen sind.

Da tanto tempo Sara voleva assaggiare i pancakes, così abbiamo allungato di qualche centinaio di metri il nostro giro per una merenda in questo locale caratteristico (americano). Simpatico. Lovely little eatery north of the train station. Popped in for breakfast pancakes. Very cute staff (could be the owners actually, I'm not sure) who were friendly and efficient. Delicious pancakes with different options to choose from. Lovely pot of tea. Great stop for breakfast or brunch. I love little independent places like this. Totally recommended for folk who like to eat at locally owned spots.

Wenn man Mr. Pancake mit der Erwartung besucht, in einem Café gemütlich zu frühstücken, ist man hier falsch.An der Theke bestellt man eine von 8 Pancake Varianten (da bietet jeder Crêpe-Stand mehr Optionen) und evtl Getränke (Kaffee gibt es in Tassen, kalte Getränke nur in Flaschen ohne Glas dazu).Die Bestellung wird dann an den Tisch gebracht - nach nochmaligem Nachfragen nach der genauen Bestellung und ordentlicher Wartezeit.
