"Overall okay. Prices are too expensive, but you can tolerate that during the Christmas season. What's not possible is that we had to wait an hour for the first drinks and another 45 minutes for the food. I felt sorry for the two girls who served the drink. It definitely wasn't because of them. We can't understand how such a small team can manage everything at Christmas. Since the food couldn't make up for everything, that was probably the last time."

Quite a nice rustic design. But too narrow. Food simply overpriced for the quality.

We were there with a smaller group. The food was very good. The service was also great. Gladly again.

The food tastes great. The 1L banana wheat is also convincing. It's a little more expensive, but it's worth it

There's absolutely nothing to complain about here. Friendly service, nice atmosphere and very tasty food. We would be happy to come back on our next visit to Bautzen View menu

Courteous but not intrusive service, responsive to children (nice children's menu), Didn't wait long for the food even though all the tables were occupied, the food was fresh, tasty and varied. We'll be back great

We recently had our company Christmas party in this restaurant. The food was excellent, the staff was great and very attentive, and the prices were also reasonable. All in all, absolutely recommended we'll be back! Many thanks from WOCKEN!

We ate in the mustard room for the second time and it was delicious again. We had, among other things, chestnut soup, mustard schnitzel and salad with chicken, mango mustard ice cream and delicious local beer. The service was nice and the atmosphere was quite nice. A big plus: dogs are allowed. We'll definitely come back. View menu

The food here was an absolute disaster, I strongly do not recommend it. We had two types of soup and one main course and everything tasted like it came from a station stand. The waitress was trying to manage a full restaurant when the town was filled with Advent tourists. A big disappointment for us for the money. For €40, we would eat like royalty.

Rustic restaurant in downtown Bautz. It's better to pre-order on the weekend otherwise there will be a shortage of seats. Draft beer is around 5 euros, food is around 18-23 euros. Everything tastes delicious and is sufficient. Parking is relatively difficult. The best thing to do is to park your car at Schützenplatz and walk the few hundred meters through the narrow streets of Bautzen.

"it started to rain quite strongly so we decided to eat something earlier. wjelbik was right around the corner and as it had received quite enthusiastic critiken, we wanted to try it out too. that was a really good decision precision only with high-quality raw materials and yet sorbic traditions let me think I am quite close to beautiful modern note, the coating was really nice and everything tasteful was in perfect harmonie. my wife took her interpretation of the traditional Sorbian soup and with perfectly poched egg in the bowl it was really good. as an appetizer I took traditional bark and my wife gordon bleu from the calf. both were just excellent. juicy, perfectly seasoned, served with fresh, perfectly steamed vegetables. traditional savory sauce with rolade was simply incredible. I found that eating in traditional large restaurants in Germany usually means quite heavy and something too fat eating, and especially salt is also used ... well ... generous if they like. not here. everything perfectly seasoned. the portions were a little big, so we had only espresso as desserts. the coffee was excellent and it was served with a small cube of lemon cheesecake, which was really a cube (no bread intended) the prices were good and if you take into account the price-performance ratio, wjelbik really offers a good value for money? .as I said, do not seek further, highly recommended. I'll go back there when in Bautzen."
