Food was good and service very quick. Nicely set out and furnished with fresh flowers on every table. Felt perfectly comfortable eating on my own.

The food was amazing and the portion were just perfect. Highly recommend the sea bass or steak for mains and Sticky toffee pudding or Citron Au Tart

A really lovely restaurant. Such great service and extra care and attention as we were celebrating a birthday. Staff were friendly and attentive. Thank you for the lovely meal!

the employees quite inexperienced- consistently wrong ordering, missed and ordering, wein spilled over the place etc. but very friendly and sweet, so that was good. only not the luxury experience we expected, given the prices.

the restaurant itself was good, but the service and eating were less than satisfactory. the appetizers that were only brot, olive oil and balsamico vinegar, took 40 minutes to arrive. my wife ordered the hunch, but took her another 20 minutes, so an hour as we ordered it to say it was not available. so she ordered the risotto as recommended, but that was bland and tasteless. I ordered a rare steak that came somewhere between medium and medium-sized rare. at breakfast the cooked eggs were cooked in a round to the height of the hard cooked

Decor and environment felt very lavish and luxurious. Very little choice for either breakfast or dinner options, and having ordered the same meal two nights running they were not consistent. One evening had a mixture of seasonal vegetables the following evening just green beans, one evening the starter contained 6 tempura prawns and the following evening it was 3. Breakfast is even more restricted and is either a full English or Variation of eggs on muffins. Despite the plethora of eggs available there was absolutely no hope of requesting an omelette?! We were greeted by a welcoming host and shown to our table which was laid up with attractive crockery. Gladly, they were flexible with our drinks order as my partner does not drink tea the service was friendly professional. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the Afternoon Tea expected a much more luxurious offering for £25 per head. The selection of food was limited portion sizes incredibly small for the price. The sandwich flavours were very boring, served on bread that was already going dry overall just really bland.
