"Last night, I visited this restaurant and tried what could possibly be the worst food I have ever had. Upon entering, I immediately noticed that the place was infested with flies and did not appear to be clean. This was a major red flag for me. Despite the high cost of nearly £12 for two meals, my companion and I decided to pay and take our meals to go. To our disappointment, the portions were smaller than what I would serve to my 3-year-old nephew. Some parts of the food were overcooked while others were cold. I can confidently say that I will not be returning to this establishment and will advise others to steer clear as well. Additionally, I was not given the option to choose my portion size, leading me to believe that the small portions are standard for all customers."

I stopped for a lunch break and could smell fries in the air. The Westgate Fish Bar welcomed me and served me delicious food. I would definitely change my route just to have their fish and chips. View menu

I have dined at this restaurant multiple times, and the food is typically hot and delicious. However, during my most recent visit with my husband, both of our dishes were served cold. We were disappointed, especially considering we paid almost £10 for our meal.

Popped into this delightful little cafe for coffee and cake following a nice walk up Roseberry Topping and into Guisborough. We've had a lot of coffee and cakes following walks this year and the chocolate and cherry cake as well as the orange cake we...had are amongst the best so far. Delicious and moist plus very smooth coffees and excellently friendly owners made this a very happy stop over View menu

Been tonight for the first time and ordered standard cod and chips with curry sauce. Cod was ok not hot. Chips if that’s standard size then McDonalds give you more fries. The curry sauce well it had the colour of curry sauce about all I could say. Sadly being near the North Sea you would expect a chip shop to be of a much higher standard. I would say this is the worst chip shop I have ever been too. Never again

in any case my trip to the caffe in guisborough, I've been traveling for years. the special lunch menu has something for everyone, changes regularly and is freshly made to the spatial features with high quality ingredients. the best coffee everywhere, and all cakes and discs are. homemade on the ground also. warm beans from the often, if they also really time! the last review was clearly wrong in what she saw, or she sat in another caffe. jason and his team do not dream of spoiling her call with those bought in Morrisons scenes. if he's sold out, he's sold out, and that's all right. a small jewel of a coffee house! highly recommended!

"As my friends and I are football fans, we come to Ogrady’s at least once a week to watch the match. We usually get food here too as the matches we watch are late kick off. Today, just like we do every other week, a few of us came to watch a match and have something to eat/drink. Within the first hour of us being here we spent a little over £50 on food and drink, and had planned on getting dessert and more drinks after our food had settled. Within approx. 10 mins of our plates being taken off the table by the waitress, the owner (i presume), a middle aged man, came over to us and started shaking his head and calling us ridiculous and said we had 5 minutes to order more drinks before he kicked us out as he “is having a busy night” and, i’m assuming, thought we just came to watch the TV and had not bought anything. One of our group tried to tell him we had just finished our food and had already spent a fair amount of money only for him to keep mumbling “ridiculous” and walk away from us.We are paying customers, and have spent a lot of time/money here over the past few months only to be called ridiculous and threatened to be kicked out (despite spending a lot of money already in the first hour of being here). For a grown man, his attitude was terrible and I cannot believe he would speak to his customers that way. Would not recommend."
