"Positives: Decor is absolutely gorgeous and great location walking distance to Lanyon Place Train Station). Unfortunately there are a few negatives in my opinion) I’m sorry to say but the service is quite poor. I spent the evening there with 3 friends and all of us felt the staff were inattentive and consistently struggled to get their attention all evening for food order/drinks. It was also pretty clear when we arrived that the staff weren’t expecting our booking, luckily there was a table free. For a Friday night in December, the place was relatively quiet I assume this is due to the drinks being slightly overpriced compared to other high market City Centre bars £16.00 for a cocktail). Coming from a hospitality background myself, my advice would be reduce the cost of drinks where possible increase staff training."

The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the service was excellent. The food was delicious. The bar was quiet enough for New Year’s Eve, but it lacked a vibrant atmosphere.

We didn’t receive any acknowledgment of our reservation, and we were not disturbed during our meal. However, the menu options were quite limited, and there seemed to be a shortage of staff. The wait times were not ideal. View menu

I have an issue when I'm given the full bill and asked to pay in full before I have received a drink or any food. When I questioned the staff member I was told we had to pay first as it was hard to keep track of all the customers. Sorry just not good enough, I won't be back.

the well-occupied area was disorganized and no one interested in us, a pre-booked couple. the menu offer was bad, strange, made and offered bad aromen and ridiculous bad worth. the initially pleasant atmosphere was roughly broken by loud hitting unnecessary carols and music. we will not be back.

I booked a table through open table and viewed the menu. When I arrived I had to wait ten minutes for a table which wasn't the table I had requested in my booking. The menu was nothing like what I had viewed. The staff were inexperienced and overwhelmed. The bar was piled with dirty glasses. The food was deep fried and tasteless View menu

Lovely Deco and ambience . Staff where friendly but slightly hard to get their attention on occasion. Drinks expensive but then it’s a city centre venue. £12.50 for portion of chips and 3 small burgers £12.50 for chicken wings and chips. Food was ok nothing exciting and chips ordered was not what was served.Having said this we enjoyed our visit prior to show in Waterfront which is next door.I would return.

We made a reservation through OpenTable, but when we arrived, the restaurant seemed unaware of our booking. They eventually seated us at the back. Although the place was busy, the service was extremely slow; we ended up waiting an hour for our food. The manager acknowledged the delay and even removed a meal from our bill. When the food finally arrived, it was average and somewhat cold. Additionally, the restaurant is advertised as a cocktail bar, but they were unable to make an espresso martini or a classic daiquiri due to a lack of ingredients, which was surprising for a Saturday night. Overall, we probably won’t be returning.
