"We visited the garden centre as a family over the October half term. The garden centre itself was fantastic and the Christmas displays were truly magical! After having a good look around we decided to head over to the cafe/restaurant for some lunch. The que...was huge as they clearly did not have enough order/pay stations running to support the amount of customers. I was disappointed they didn’t have a cafe staple soup!!! A child’s meal was £5.95 and when it arrived our 5 year old daughter was given 1 sausage, 5 chips (this apparently was an extra portion to! when I questioned the portion size I was advised this is standard portion for a child’s meal! Outrageous! Our meals were also very mediocre and cold! I would not recommend eating here...over priced for poor quality food! Such a shame as it could be really good!!"

My partner and I have eaten here on several occassions and often just had coffee/tea and a cake. Quality is always excellent and a good range of home cooked food. The ambience is a little lacking but that is just my personal opinion.

We visited for breakfast and a look around the garden centre. The full English was lovely and fairly priced. The garden centre is big and plenty to see. There is a pet bit to buy pet supplies, the clothes part is massive and there is...lots to look at. There is yummy food and drinks to buy, lots of real ale and gin presents. All in all, this place is good to spend a couple of hours.

Very slow in the coffee area. Need to do some different planning of service and need extra staff. The lovely pregnant lady was rushed off her feet. Look after your staff. The actual garden centre was beautifully presented and credit due to all the hard work that has been put into it. The new area which has now opened was beautiful and a lovely display. Credit to all of you. Keep up the good work. 'Well Done ' xxxx

Went here today travelled from Market Rasen as it was recommended. You have to ask at the till for the menu which is flashed up in front of you. We took a seat in the conservatory type area. Oh phew it was unbearably hot. No...windows open, no door to allow some air and the fans don't work. 25°outside so goodness knows what it was in here the fish n chips tasted nice don't get me wrong but I could hardly breathe it was so stifling. I think I'll stick to. Pennels in Lincoln thanks very much they know how to treat you humanely

Garden centre was good, large and almost like visiting a botanical gardens. Didn't seem too over priced for a garden centre. We ate in the restaurant the food was fine but there were more people than tables (we shared with some lovely strangers). They were displaying the wrong specials menu but didn't seem to do anything about it even when people kept trying to order from it. Chap at the till coughed into his hand a few times and wiped his nose a few times with his hand (I was standing in the queue a long time) and didn't go and wash his hands, which was a little concerning as he was serving tea and milk as well as operating the till. But overall it was a very pleasant experience.
