All the dishes were perfect, but it did come with a price. We tried the traditional dessert, which was sponge cake soaked in sugar, it was way too sweet.

Top place, we came for a couples meal on valentine's and the service was next to non, the staff were always at hand and very friendly.They even threw in a nice rose on the table. The food was alright and we left satisfied

Overall, an exceptional experience in every aspect. The food was amazing. The service was friendly, prompt, and efficient. They offer a good selection of local beers on tap. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Highly recommended!

nutmeg has served us for a last minute booking on a Saturday night friendly. beautiful that we called them, great meals and a good atmosphere. I recommend the disc starter and I was very happy to find gulab jamuns on the menu. there is a series of diet options. I'd come back happy.

5/5! Fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable staff and delicious food. Prawn curry (main)was excellent, and so were all the starters. They have also an appealing selection of wine and craft beers. The place is in a good location and nicely decorated. We went there in a group of 5 and had to wait ca 20 minutes -so good to make a booking in advance. WE definitely enjoyed it. View menu

we had a fantastic evening in nutmeg in clifton. it is a busy restaurant that connects with seating over two floors and a covered outdoor area. eating was first-class, nutmeg has an imaginative menu with some less usual options, and it is all perfectly cooked and well presented. the bhaji to start and biryani for the main were excellent as the sweet potato vegetarian dish. many friendly staff so that the service corresponds to the quality of eating.

We have already dined here twice and have been impressed each time. The food is delicious and satisfying, making it well worth the money. The cocktails are also fantastic. I recommend the Lamb Catcher, the Kofta, and the King Prawn Haupt. If you're in the mood for something extra spicy, the pork vindaloo is outstanding, especially when paired with jasmine rice. We ordered the same dishes during both visits because we wanted to see if the quality remained consistent — and it did, without disappointment. There are many options on the menu, but we plan to return to try as much as we can.

Best Features: The staff is incredible—very attentive and friendly. The service is quick, making for an enjoyable experience. Drawback: It can be a bit pricey. Overview: It's advisable to make a reservation, as the restaurant tends to be busy and is quite small. The Indian cuisine is fantastic; I haven't encountered better in Bristol! Our waitress was outstanding—she checked on us regularly and was very accommodating. Initially, we considered the tasting menu, but it seemed like too much food, so we opted for the à la carte menu instead, and we were still quite full. I plan to return to try the tasting menu.
