"Today, my husband and I visited the busy and lively Nuts Bistro for lunch. The menu offered a wide variety of options, with additional specials displayed around the room. We were greeted by a friendly and professional waitress who seated us. We both decided to order the all-day breakfast, with my husband choosing the meat option and myself opting for the vegan one. I was impressed with the meal when it arrived promptly. The vegan breakfast had a great selection, from vegan bacon to avocado, and the plate was filled to the brim with perfectly cooked items. My husband enjoyed a delicious smoothie with his meal, and we both agreed that we thoroughly enjoyed our food and were left feeling satisfied. This restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere, friendly service, and good value for money. We will definitely be returning soon."

Good variety on the menu at reasonable prices. The food portions are a good size and arrive swiftly and hot. Tables are a bit cramped but a very good place to eat.

Lovely! We walked from houghton mill through the thicket to st.ives and stopped off at nuts bistro for some lunch. Reasonably priced nice food, I even took a bit of the specials quiche home for my dinner and it was delicious. Staff were all very friendly

The food here is delightful, the service is quick, and the staff are lovely. My partner and I love coming back for the generous portions at a reasonable price and the charming atmosphere. This is definitely one of the top lunch and breakfast spots in St Ives!

Booked for a birthday meal and had the gluten free afternoon tea. The Staff couldn’t have been more helpful, fitting us in at an earlier time to the time I booked when we rang. The food was lovely and couldn’t believe how much we got for the price. Thankyou so much. We will definitely book again when we visit again.

I have visited St Ives numerous times, but had never noticed this restaurant before! I decided to stop by today on a whim and enjoyed a delicious bacon and sausage panini, served with salad and coleslaw. We also shared a bowl of chips and drinks. The prices were very reasonable compared to other places we have been to, and the food was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be returning in the future. The drive over was definitely worth it.

This place used to be good. Last two times we’ve been here we’ve been met with unfriendly staff (particularly the red headed one who clearly doesn’t want to be there). On Saturday we turned up for a late lunch. There were only 5 tables occupied and so it was surprising we were sat there for 15 minutes being ignored while they occasionally cleared the other tables! I then went up to the counter to try and order, only to be told (curtly) to sit back down again and wait to be served. This didn’t happen for another 5 minutes so left and went to Weatherspoons friendly staff, good value it’s almost as if Nuts don’t want to be in business anymore. Such a shame.

"Re opened, refurbished and back with a bang! A classic thatched country pub which has been lovingly and sympathetically restored to more than its former glory, with new owners and new management. It now features a wonderful and sizeable pub garden with stunning views over the Cambridgeshire countryside with the quaint addition of Highland Cows who seem to enjoy watching the customers! Having been for drinks and food now on a couple of occasions, the menu is sophisticated, tasty with plenty of variety. If you're enjoying a drink in the garden, for nibbles, I highly recommend the cheese fritters they compliment a cool glass of Prosecco perfectly. There is an extensive wine list and a selection of cocktails on offer. Inside the pub, it's all olde world charm but with a modern twist and as much I love the warm weather, I almost can't wait to see a roaring fire in the two fireplaces! The staff are friendly and welcoming it's the sort of pub I'd be happy to go into on my own for a light lunch or just a drink. I can't wait to try their Sunday lunch which I've heard good things about already from those who have been! Considering it's a whole new team of people, the service understandably was a little bit slow as they were learning the ropes. However, on my last visit, I was impressed by how much slicker it was they're obviously fast learners. Can't wait to go back and support this quality pub/restaurant."
