Ockenden Manor is a beautiful Elizabethan manor house situated Cuckfield village in West Sussex.

the charm and the setting of the shocking manor was a perfect place to celebrate my mother's birthday. quintessentially English. However, tee bags were used instead of tea leaves and we were not helped with our moms.

we were hoping to get lunch, but we had to settle for tee. it was nice, but there was a little to much sweet content for my taste. I have eaten there and want to do this again, but the tee is not for me, I fear, and for £35 I think it was moderate and therefore overpriced.

the truffle soup was good, the ochsenwange was so tender, but the salted erdnusscreme brûlée was from this world. 3 small espresso sauces of genie keep bananen sorbet, erdnusscreme brûlée and a warm chocolate sauce along with small pieces bananen and erdnuss hidden in their deep. excellent.

a beautiful place, such a quintessential English setting for afternoon tea. eating was nice, but some cakes were sick sweet. would be nice to have less cake and a little hearty baked. do not like that a percentage service is automatically added to the bill, even if specified as free. should always be complete with the customer choice

Imagine a moment. eat in an elizabethanian herren's house. look at lush green gardens and the gentle hills of the cuckfield park – while they eat award-winning kitchen and immerse themselves on fine wines. the restaurant here in the docking manor hotel is a truly luscious experience and actually rather modern, accommodated in the winter garden of the hotel and is supervised by chef stephen crane. the aromen will never be spared and the kitchen sends the dishes to cook perfectly according to the court of the precision.
