"The restaurant lies in Ostra-Allee 11, not far from the Zwinger. It’s a nice and gay restaurant where one can have very good Russian specialities. I just had a beer there during the lunch break which I imposed myself on the occasion of my visit to the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister, on September 11th, 2016, after eating a sandwich. Unfortunately my stay in Dresden wasn’t long enough for me to be able go to that restaurant to have a meal. I regretted much that impossibility on my part because, as stated, the Russian specialities listed on the menu looked very good. The staff members seem to be very kind. The lady who served me the beer at the bar was talking in Russian to another customer. I realized it was a slave language and when I asked her in Croatian what language she was speaking she answered me in a very graceful manner. Next time I go to Dresden I shall no doubt have a meal in the restaurant concerned."

If you have never tasted Russian cuis inevitable then yes. Otherwise, it is not the place to enjoy a nice meal in Dresden.

So stumbled upon this place having Russian food once. I had the Soljanka soup, which came with bread. Very good. Then the main dish was Pelmina with mushroom sauce. It was ok. I think I don’t enjoy mince meat, so could be great for others....Had a vodka lemon to drink and the service was great

We had a lunch in this restaurant recommended by our guide during our Dresden excursion. To enjoy visit of this place can be only person with nostalgia for former USSR with its menus. We had typical former Soviet Union soups and sausages with beer. Service...is professional but again typically Soviet with our any smile

The restaurant offers Ukrainian/Russian cuisine. The food we ordered was very delicious. The dishes were prepared quickly. The ambience is good. On weekends you have to reserve the table. Several people were rejected as long as we were there because there were no more places. Prices are reasonable. If you want to eat Schaschlik, you must order before (a few days ago). Minimum order 5 portions.

We were working in Dresden and first went there without knowing the place on our wedding day it was an absolutely right decision: food is delicious, fresh, homemade and tastes like in childhood in Russia! Later we returned many times or took some food...away that was very convenient. One evening we invited for a dinner our friends from Israel and Australia one of whom was eating only vegan and they also loved the food, the service and the atmosphere very much! The restaurant is situated just opposite the Zwinger, so it is ideal to visit after the walk through Dresden or beforeafter the Opera

We were two days behind each other. The food was very good on both days. But we felt there were two different chefs. The salmon was once stuffed, not the other day. still everything was very delicious. In the service it was a difference like day and night. In the first night we felt really comfortable. The waiter was attentive, interested and funny. A great evening. On the second day another waiter served us. He took the order, brought the food and took it. It was a short evening. We would have ordered a lot more if he had been watching us and asked. The food is really good. delicious and fresh

On entry staff appeared uninterested in seating us, took a long time to get a menu. Once ordered the food took a considerable time to arrive. I had a chicken dish Kiev which was raw in the middle. The waitress took one look and said...“ ah no” and took the dish away with no explanation. My husband finished his meal while I assumed mine was being redone. The second Kiev arrived and was put in front of me with a curt apology. It too was raw in the middle. Called the waitress over and requested the bill, she came back with the Kiev taken off. Unfortunately my German is not good enough to make a formal complaint, but I will never return to this establishment

This restaurant is located on the back side of Zwinger, towards the Holiday Inn.It serves excellent Ukrainian food. Very generous portions. Nice staff. Whoever is tired of Sauerbraten and the Roulade should come here. I thought that the ice cream they used for deserts was a little lower quality, but the other dishes were simply delicious. From the street the place seems perpetually sort of deserted, but don't be discouraged, it is a great opportunity to try something new. Once you come in you will notice that there are guests inside. They have a print-out of an English menu, otherwise the menu is printed in Russian and German. I communicated with the waitress in German, not sure if she knows...
