"one of the absolute top locations in the passau. from the kitchen come only freshly prepared flavors. the quality and selection of the dishes speak for themselves. the restaurant is tastefully decorated and sprays a hauch of italia. very nice to see the collection of guzzis in various forms. which is on the look for good weeping, comes here to its taste. the owner of the local can recommend the appropriate webshop for each cure. his background knowledge about weine is phenomenal. as far as the grappe is concerned, I can only agree with the previous resolution. I hope I am the countless species at one point through:"

We had sea food and pasta. The sea food was very fresh the pasta with fungi simply delicious. It was like it had the right amount of spices, fat and cook time. I'm not a foodie, I just know it was one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in. The service was very nice and the atmosphere in the terrace was very nice.

Our daughter and son-in-law live in Passau so we visit there often. Ombralonga is one of our favorite restaurants there and we frequent it whenever we are in Passau. The restaurant always has great service and an enjoyable atmosphere. The owner always remembers and greets us. The food is wonderful with a frequently changing menu and delicious homemade pasta. It's not in the city center, but a short walk which is well worth it. I would highly recommend Ombralonga! We have never been disappointed.

very beautiful, small fine restaurant. it's a bit hidden in the greenaustrasse. large selection of wines. Eating is always exceptionally good. as dessert one of the many self-produced grappas was found. in summer they can end the day wonderfully in the gas garden. the antipasti teller is always a perfect choice to start a wonderful evening. the owner can recommend the perfect wine to everyone. due to the size a reservation is recommended. we were never disappointed. whether it is just a glass wee or 3gang menu, it is something for everyone.

Really terrible service, I entered and waited for 5 minutes for the waitress to come and seat me (despite the fact she saw me from entrance and kept gossiping with the client). Then she let talking so loudly that you could heard her from the other room. It took her another 10minutes to ask if I want to drink something and I had to ask for menu. She came 3 times to double check if I ordered water. She was putting wrong things on the table. And everything despite the fact the it was half empty in the resto. Food average, portions small. Totally not recommended.

"It was shortly before 10 pm and two other restaurants that had advertised having a kitchen open until 10 pm had already told me that the kitchen was, in fact, already closed. Roses was open and the waitress still let me order.I had the Cheesesteak 2 (steak, provolone, bell pepper, onion, mushroom), which came with a small salad dressed in oil and balsamic vinegar and steak fries. It was really a quality meal. The cheesesteak was one of the best I have ever had, and is definitely the best I have had in Germany. I could have eaten two. The fries were hot and fresh and cooked to perfection. The salad was OK, too - my only complaint there was that there were carrot and cucumber ribbons, which looked pretty but were hard to eat.If I remember correctly, the difference between Cheesesteak 1 and Cheesesteak 2 was sliced mushrooms, but the price difference was a euro. A euro seems a bit steep for a couple of pieces of mushroom, so if I return, I'd probably get the Cheesesteak 1 and save the euro. The other food on the menu sounded good, too.The waitress was very friendly and did an excellent job of managing the tables - at 10:30 p.m. on a Monday in winter, almost all of the tables were full and there was only one waitress working.Otherwise, the atmosphere was cozy - a shabby chic French café sort of place. Indie music was playing, and a little bit on the loud side, so if you're on a quiet date or looking for a place to meet up with friends and have a more serious conversation, this probably isn't it.Also, the beers are Hacklberger, but that's not printed on the menu - around here, there's always the risk of getting Graf Arco."
