The food is fine, nothing special but VERY overpriced for what you get. The staff are terrible for the most part, very unfriendly and unhelpful. Even when the place is almost empty you have to wait a long time to order, pay, etc...

Vegan options clearly labeled! Also, numerous vegan options to choose from, especially in the regular menu. The weekend brunch a la carte includes the veganasia breakfast, which I enjoyed a lot (eggplant spread was a bit bitter but that might very well be just me).

We'd had enough of heavy, stodgy Austrian cuisine and decided to go Asian for something lighter. This was one of the only places open, so we gave it a shot. It turned out to be excellent. This well located restaurant near the Nachmarkt offers a Japanese, Korean, Thai and Viennese menu. Fusion-plus! All very good. Relatively stylish clientele. Very light and bright during daylight. Good for dinners, too. Full bar. And possibly the cleanest rest rooms in all of Europe. We were a group of four and were very pleased by the delicious food and the easy service.

Vastly inferior to the much more modest but substantially superior ON restaurant in the working class 5th district, this glitzy branch on the Naschmarkt serves up dull, uninspired Asian fusion food with inefficient, unhelpful service. The Szechuan lamb dish I tried was overcooked and had a watery sauce that was merely peppery, with no other discernible taste. The accompanying wok vegetables were equally tasteless. There are many better Asian places around the Naschmarkt.

I have gone back several times to this restaurant. My favorite dish is the duck and melanzani casserole. I find it quite amazing. I have tried other things on the menu that I found nice, but the duck eggplant dish is what I think of fondly when I think of ON Market. They have quite innovative cocktails that are quite delicious and do a great liver appetizer. The ambience is also quite relaxed yet still modern and the decor is funky. We came here str8 from the airport before we got the key to our air bnb apt. We sat to breakfast and we discovered that's it's actually an Asian restaurant with Asian breakfast mostly. The very nice waiter recommended us to take a traditional continental Breakfast with breads basket, jams and honey but also Chinese breakfast with veggies in a wok and scrambled eggs with tomatoes and Asian sauces - it was delicious! And new and surprising. The place itself is beautiful and service is professional and helpful.

Good food ruined by poor service... We reserved a table for dinner. At first we were put in the bar area but at my request were moved to the restaurant part, which is a little cozier. We were then asked to move tables once more. OK, fine, it was a busy evening. But after ordering, the food took almost an hour to arrive. Upon inquiring after 40 minutes (isn't Asian food supposed to be quick?) the waiter admitted that he hadn't put the order through!We asked for something to make up for it, perhaps a glass of wine? Seldom on a trip will I eat in the same restaurant more than once, let alone three times as I did here. That's how much I enjoyed On Market. A popular and hot restaurant in Naschmarkt.My love affair with this restaurant started with the contemporary interior and welcoming staff. Colorful textiles with a nod to the restaurant's Asian heritage hung on tall grey walls with an amazing fabric light fixture as the focal point.
