"what is Canadian: the setting of a sugar shack unchanged for 35 years, beer, poutine: fries with Saint Hubert sauce with onions and cheese; Thankfully this country has left something else to global gastronomy! but no dessert based on maple syrup in this restaurant (because it's too expensive, lets the boss)!. so French desserts made home. mediocre and rather European than American salmon. which allows a wide variety of hot or cold formulas with a rich and fresh salad, but unspoiled fries. hamburgers and some meat dishes for those who are allergic to fish. In the summer, the street turns into a cool terrace. in short, the restaurant lives on its long-standing reputation but is no longer deserved"

Stopped here for a drink after a climb up and down from La Bastille and left 4 hours later, a wonderful friendly place.

typical atmosphere, courteous service and varied map. A bit shocked to see a Canadian restaurant's menu norvège salmon, but maple syrup beer is excellent as the bison meat poutine.

I will often eat in this restaurant, the dishes are very good and the atmosphere and friendly. I've been there regularly for 1 year and I've always been very well received. I strongly recommend this restaurant. View menu

excellent restaurant on grenoble for almost 30 years, I'm never disappointed with the dishes, the friendliness and especially the friendliness of the boss who has a joy of living extreme, being good value for money and his last dish "the poutine" a delight!

We found the original concept. We started with a Canadian beer, good but for a high price. The dishes are made of fries, which we knew. but the quality is not necessarily at the date (frozen?) again compared to the price. The waitress was nice, but the boss was a little overwhelmed.

This is the most charming restaurant we visited while in Grenoble. The owners, their family, and staff made us feel right at home. We liked it so much that we ate there several times. The food is great and the atmosphere is enchanting. The location of the restaurant is basically right off of the river, so you can take a stroll along the river before or after you eat. It's really a hidden gem! View menu

The food at this restaurant was extremely tasty! I had the salmon, and the combination of the flavours of the fish itself, and the added spices made for a very delicious meal! Offering Canadian craft beer from Quebec made for a special dining experience as well. The staff at the restaurant were very kind and welcoming, excited to speak to you and receive your reviews on the cuisine! I recommend this restaurant to any visitors to Grenoble, especially those who are Canadian!

We passed this restaurant earlier in the day and stopped to look at the menu. There was 9 of us and it was a Saturday so we decided to book as the place is quite small. We are so glad we did as they were turning customers away throughout the night. The owner and staff are so welcoming and really made our evening. The food was lovely and generous with delicious puddings. The maple tart was the best. 4 of our party had the lamb which they all said was pretty special. The steaks were also very tender and was cooked to your liking. The prices were also very good compared to other restaurants nearby. When next in Grenoble we shall be heading straight for Ontario.
