Gorgeous property set among rolling hills of olive trees and vineyards. Great service, ask the reception for recommendations on what to do and where to eat in the surrounding region. Not far from Noto in the rolling hills is this contemporary high quality place. We were staying in Noto at hotel 7 rooms Villadorata. We travelled to the country house during the day to lounge and swim in the pool. We dined there twice. Excellent food by Chef Maurizio and hospitality from Ben and Christian. An excellent place to rest from sightseeing and shopping. As a bonus we had a Sicilian cooking class. Much fun. View menu

Dining al fresco at a country house operated by the owners of 7 Rooms Villadorata in Noto was extraordinary. The only drawback is that it is very difficult to find (especially at night, as the signage is not lit), so I would suggest that you contact the restaurant for directions. We were able to prepare our own cocktails at a very well stocked bar. The food is prepared to perfection; the staff is well informed and helpful. We were so impressed with Country House Villadorata that we drove back the next day to see it in daylight. The vineyards and orchards are spectacular everything about this place was pure delight.

I have spent all 29 years of my life living in New Jersey and/or New York City with access to the best Italian food and tomatoes in the U.S.A. My husband and I also travelled all over Sicily palermo, agrigento, noto, Syracuse, marzimemi, catania and taormina. No dish i have ever had is as good as this restaurant's spaghetti with tomato basil sauce. If I had to eat the same dish every night for the rest of my life, I would be ecstatic if it could be this. Their eggplant parmigiana, squid and chocolate lava cake were also divine. They use the freshest ingredients and put so much love into their food. Amazing.
