"Came here today and will not be returning. Was not told until after I had paid that it would be a 20 minute wait for a panini, my partner got food elsewhere as we both wanted something quick on the go and sat at a table whilst waiting. They forgot my drink so I had to chase and my panini came 30 minutes later, my partner got told he couldn’t eat at the table however he just had his take away box on the table, we were simply waiting. Once my item was given we quickly left feeling annoyed by the service and long wait, only to find my item was missing ingredients. Marcos will most definitely not be seeing us again, there are several other lovely cafes down the Island which rank higher Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

One gluten-free cake was the only breakfast option available. The meal was rated 1/5 for food, but the service and atmosphere were both rated 5/5.

Good value café food, nice coffee, lovely setting. Dropped a star on service as had to chase to find out where food was.. most likely due to the place being very busy. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 View menu

I had a (rather expensive) large sausage and chips. The sausage was mmh delish however the chips tasted like satan had cast a spell on them. They were an abomination. They tasted like fish (in which i dont like fish) I would not reccomend this little pop up.

The women serving us got our first order wrong, despite me repeating it four times. We ordered two cappuccinos, not hard, but they still made a mistake. The service, dining experience, and atmosphere all received a rating of 3 out of 5. The price per person was between £1-10.

The service at this restaurant was excellent. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The atmosphere was also top-notch, with a cozy and inviting ambiance that made us feel right at home. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. View menu

Great cafe, good food (the baguettes, panninis and pasties are lovely) reasonable tea and coffee prices, very friendly and helpful staff. Only downside was the litter around the tables, but that's more down to it's customers than the cafe itself I reckon. Their card machine made four attempts to take payments and failed and they were unable to print out a Void receipt. My order for £21.20 was entered on one occasion as £84. The staff were quite surly about me insisting on written and signed confirmation that these transactions had all failed. I paid by cash in the end. The fish was OK but the chips are rubbish. Lots of black bits, not cooked properly and tasteless. By the time they had sorted out the payment issue, they had gone cold £10.50 for this, or few yards away a coffee and a freshly cooked Panini for £6.50. Its is no brainer.

"I raved about this place in my last review but since then it appears to have changed. Firstly, I cant remember the chairs being so uncomfortable that they had 'scatter ' cushions for you to use if you needed to. Having had back surgery, they made it even worse for me, so did without them in the most uncomfortable chair ever. Now, to the main part of the review. The lovely cakes that I had raved about had disappeared to be replaced by a sorry looking load of bog standard cake. The poor girl who served us was nervous as it was her first day, we ordered pecan pie which came with cream, we asked if its pouring or thick, she had to ask, it was pouring so we asked if we could have ice cream instead, she had to ask. Anyway, we finally ordered our cake and coffee. When she brought the coffee, she spilled half of mine in the saucer and then asked if I wanted a different saucer....duh! she took the offending saucer and the spoon brought a saucer back, no extra serviette to wipe the bottom of the cup and NO SPOON! We were then served the cake and ice cream, which to be fair, was nice, until, halfway through I saw a hair on my friends plate, (she was not wearing her glasses). We knew instantly that it was not either of ours, I have shoulder length hair and her hair was in a bun! We called the poor young lady over and pointed it out, she asked if my friend wanted to change it...duh! Of course she did, she brought another and thankfully my friend shared it with me! The coffee was (flat white) was nice but after that catalogue of events I wont be going back. They do offer a range of snacks/lunches and people did seem to be enjoying them."
