"You won’t find light or innovative cuisine here, but what they do, they do well. When we arrived on a Sunday we found it full of families enjoying a long Sunday lunch. We started with traditional appetizers like vitello tonnato (thinly sliced veal in a mayo/tuna sauce), cheese, and peppers in an anchovy sauce (regional speciality). We shared a delicious plate of thin, flat pasta (tagliatelle) in a rabbit ragù. Then we finished the meal with a plate of roasted pork which was carved table-side from an enormous hock. This meal for 2 people plus a 8 Euro half bottle of wine and a dessert (which I can’t remember enough about to describe) was 80 Euro."

Good food, nice place and professional staff. The owner has longer experience in the restaurant and the daughters in the kitchen are a guarantee of quality.

In pieno centro cittadino.

What a pleasant surprise to find a genuine family run restaurant with wonderful staff to match and the personal care of the owner. Full on a Saturday lunchtime , we had excellent homemade pasta, a wonderful cheese board accompanied by hazelnuts in honey and a red onion compote. We had made room for a classical Piedmontese homemade dessert which was very good. There is a full wine list and many local wines of which my Grignolino “ San Sabastiano” was perfect. I will be returning next month. Well worth the drive and a pleasant town to wander around after such a satisfying meal

"born from the ashes of the famous gubistrò at casale monferrato has changed its name in gubistrock, however, changing the theme of the local but maintaining a high culinary profile and use of the raw materials used. We decided to try this restaurant by taking the proposed pizzas from the club. we started with antipasti cannolo di baccalà, olives and caramel to the peppers and tartare of fassona, ricotta seirass and pearls of black truffle and roasted topinambur, porcini, black truffle and cocoa land to then pass to the pizza choosing for everyone the savior with tomato sauce san marzano, prosciutto crudo di parma and bocconcini di bufala Campana. . pasta and ham top, without missing the dessert by choosing lingotto with janduia, red fruits and biscuit with hazelnuts, How is sad Venetian if you no longer love with hazelnut and the historical sweet of when we were the “Gubistrò”, the latter really delicious. good choice of beers and excellent solution of the qr code for the menu. the place is beautiful with rock music, but not only to a very pleasant volume. only thing uncomfortable the height of the tables, I would say a little too high, and to say that I am tall cm you can understand how a lower subject can be, but it is a superfluous detail. price in the standard, as already mentioned, considering the high quality of raw materials. convenience of the large free parking (Castle Square) a short distance from the local. super recommended."
