"On food nothing to say, you eat well, but the service is to improve and also so much. We stayed on the veranda but practically forgotten by the waiter/manager. It is impossible to think that a room with at least 60 covers is managed by one person. At 23:15 we tried to order dessert, after we had to call the waiter because he did not pass to our table, but the answer was “the kitchen is closed”. If at 23:00 the kitchen closes, go first to the customer's table!. We waited for him to pass through the bitters, but no one saw himself. We finally got up and went to the crate. Where we asked four bitters! It would have been nice to offer them, but on the account there were all! They must absolutely improve the service and the relationship with the customer!"

"Have see. It before whenever we went to pick friends from the airport and always found it intriguing. Can only say that thanks to our friends departure day and time we finally had a chance to visit and not it was worth it!!!! Food, service, price and the energy of the place is incredible. We leave not far from the area and now we are definitely going to being our Italian friends as well. Veramente siete bravissimi!!!! Grazie grazie per u. Pranzo spettacolare"

"Ho cenato nella veranda all’aperto a Ferragosto in questo bel locale ubicato in collina alle porte di Perugia in località Sant Egidio.Il ristorante è ben organizzato con personale gentile e professionale.La carta offre proposte del territorio con buone materie prime, una cucina semplice e sostanziosa.I miei spaghetti “della Taverna” (una carbonara fumè con tartufo bianco) e ilCinghiale alla cacciatora sono stati molto graditi come anche la tagliata di vitello presa da mia moglie.Ottima anche la bavarese al mango come dolce.Conto molto onesto.Lo consiglio vivamente se vi trovate dalle parti di Perugia."

"Ristorante situato in un castello antico, ristrutturato e adibito ad hotel. Una location quindi mozzafiato. I piatti sono frutto di una cucina ricercata al punto giusto, buoni e gustosi. Il maialino soprattutto è stato ottimo, lo riordinerei mille volte. Siamo stati a cena in due, con la mia fidanzata perciò è un ambiente perfetto per una coppia: luce soffusa, atmosfera calda e accogliente, la musica ricercata. Il personale professionale e preparato sotto ogni aspetto. Purtroppo non posso recensire il vino perché non ne abbiamo preso. Unica precisazione: ristorante raggiungibile a piedi, solo però passando da una strada buia e pericolosa di notte perciò un consiglio munitevi di una macchina o di un taxi. Buona esperienza anche a voi"

"Splendid experience of food and wine in this Slow Food haven. The attention to the details of preparation, friendly and sincere service, and relaxed setting made for a memorable visit. Highly recommended for honest, traditional rustic foods of the area. To start with, the bread was wonderful, lovingly made in house with curated yeast. We were also lucky enough to enjoy the parmigiana sedano nero di Trevi, which exploded with flavor. The gnocchi were pillowy and light in the deceptively simple and delectable ragu of duck. The risotto was top notch, with obvious care to the texture of each ingredient, especially the butternut squash. Moving on, the grilled eel had a wonderfully crisp texture, and the rabbit was divine with it's sweetbreads and porchetta accompaniment. The broccoli flan was all at once inventive and familiar comfort food. All this accompanied by an excellent natural wine, selected for us in consultation with the resident expert. In closing, we very much enjoyed the semifreddo of hazelnuts, which left smiles on our faces. Bravo!"
