The food is adequate, but not good. We did not get everything we ordered, but dinner had taken long enough that it wasn't worth getting missed salads.The pizzas are thin and greasy. The pastas were better. This is about as Italian as SpaghettiOs.Beware, they only take cash. You are better eating elsewhere.

You can only give 5 stars. spontaneously asked if we could eat and celebrate with a wedding. Was immediately done and implemented, super friendly staff, the food.. Mamma Mia! I have rarely eaten such a pizza, or so a lasagna or absolutely no matter what was ordered, in Italy you will definitely not get the level. Just a dream! Were super served, the waiters all totally on zack and super friendly and helpful, the boss also came by to congratulate the bridal couple and so all guests had a wonderful evening! Pizza like with mum in italy, for years we have been going to the holy port on vacation and were then pushed to the Osteria rustica some time ago. the restaurant is very nicely furnished and offers a good to upscale kitchen. we and especially the children come again and again because of the original Italian pizza. the selection is huge and you can also kill yourself with the ingredients. as in the original, the dough is very thin and also offers the typical taste we know from italy. the pizzas are very large and well occupied, there are delicious wine or other drinks upon request. prices are completely fine and the taste is always worth returning here. the Italian staff is nice and accommoda...

Osteria Rustica is located on the seafront promenade, just a few meters from the beach, very in the middle between the new building-Heiligenhafen (the new building near Seebrücke) and Steinwarder. We were there in low season, so tables were free, and we didn't have to reserve. There is a room similar to a conservatory, with an open fireplace, which is also heated in winter (very cozy), and in summer you can also sit on a terrace outside.
