If you want to eat Italian in Heiligenhafen, you have to go to Osteria. A family business as he stands in the beech (he pair plus nonna throw the store). The homemade pasta (as well as the lasagna and pizza) tastes excellent and you can feel the Napolitan/Sicilian flair the owner.

Pizza like with mum in italy, for years we have been going to the holy port on vacation and were then pushed to the Osteria rustica some time ago. the restaurant is very nicely furnished and offers a good to upscale kitchen. we and especially the children come again and again because of the original Italian pizza. the selection is huge and you can also kill yourself with the ingredients. as in the original, the dough is very thin and also offers the typical taste we know from italy. the pizzas are very large and well occupied, there are delicious wine or other drinks upon request. prices are completely fine and the taste is always worth returning here. the Italian staff is nice and accommoda...

Osteria Rustica is located on the seafront promenade, just a few meters from the beach, very in the middle between the new building-Heiligenhafen (the new building near Seebrücke) and Steinwarder. We were there in low season, so tables were free, and we didn't have to reserve. There is a room similar to a conservatory, with an open fireplace, which is also heated in winter (very cozy), and in summer you can also sit on a terrace outside.
