"Normalerweise meide ich Hotelrestaurants, weil sie mir häufig nur als Anhängsel des Hotels erscheinen, als Stand alone- Unternehmen aber kaum Chancen hätten. Umso angenehmer war ich vom Papillon im Seminaris Campus-Hotel überrascht: perfekter Service, fabelhaftes Essen, sehr ansprechender Hauswein. Ich hatte am Tag darauf in Dahlem zu tun und mir deshalb das Seminaris-Hotel ausgesucht, welches nahe der Freien Universität in einer Villengegend liegt, wo sonst nicht viel los ist. Also aß ich im Hotel zu Abend.Zur Vorspeise hatte ich ein Sellerieschaumsüppchen, wunderbar gewürzt, in genau der richtigen Temperatur serviert.Zur Hauptspeise hatte ich eine Kabeljau-Meersfrüchterolle, die eine schlichte Sensation war: eine zarte Farce, von einer knusprigen Hülle umgeben, dazu gebratenes Fenchelgemüse, Chutney und Reis.Wäre dieses Restaurant im Zentrum Berlins gelegen, hätte es bestimmt einen großen Zuspruch!"

We had lunch there in one summer day. The manager was very nice and humourous. We ordered 4 lunch sets. The portion was big. The food was tasty. We particularly like the pizza. We had a satisfying lunch. The only minus was probably the same problem in most restaurants: flies.

Zunächst alles sehr gut, sehr höflicher Kellner, gutes Essen, kleine Sonderwünsche kein Problem, später das absolute Gegenteil, als der Barkeeper kassieren sollte: bin noch nie in solch einer Athmosphäre abends nach einem netten Abendessen so unverschämt angesprochen worden, als ich bezahlen wollte. Das verdirbt im Nachhinein einen schönen Abend. Das lassen wir uns sicher nicht nochmal bieten. Unmöglich - erst recht in solch einem Ambiente!!!
