"Fantastic! The food was perfect but our waiter was amazing too. He went above and beyond and he made the experience even better due to his attentiveness. My niece usually gets her pizza without cheese. She loved the pizza and ate most of it and she said that’s unlike her as she usually doesn’t eat much of pizza at all. She was nervous that she might not be able to get the pizza she wanted because she doesn’t like cheese but our waiter was brilliant and accommodating and he also checked she didn’t have any allergies."

Very nice staff. The pizzas are fantastic, the crust was very thin but elastic, excellent! I tried the Padana, great mix of vegetables, cheese and the onion. The caprese salad was good. Recommended!

Cannot beat a good thin crust pizza from Pizza express. Loved the cute touch to the dough balls at the time of our visit literal heart shaped in prep for Valentine's. Always a great starter all year round, or as a pudding when winter comes up

No trouble getting a table for two on a Thursday night. I had a garlic and herb flatbread with humus followed by a Baracoa pizza. This was a new pizza, slightly spicy but just about right for my palate. All very good, waiter was very efficient and polite. All very slick.

Had a lovely afternoon at pizza express in Victoria square. Food and service was 100% the waiter went above and beyond even though they had a great selection for vegans he was able to offer a pizza that wasn't on the menu with no issues. Well worth a visit great to see staff happy at work

It really did warrant more photos. We were here on Saturday night before the waterfront as a couple and then returned the next day with 9 family members, 7 kids and two babies. The food was amazing but what really made it was the staff who really catered to all our needs as well as being very patient what to try? Any of the Romana Pizzas, Polenta Fries, Raw Slaw and the Pollo Pesto

My daughter and I just spent the loveliest couple of hours this afternoon at Pizza Express. The food was excellent, really good quality pasta dishes and so tasty. Excellent wine selection and such lovely staff. This is a repeat visit and was every bit as good an experience as on the previous occasion. I thought it was worth posting a review to recommend the food, the drink and the first class service.

Myself and wife popped in before an event at waterfront and excellent all round. Customer service was prompt and friendly from start to finish. Checks were done to check for covid vaccine certification. I tried the hot jalapeño dough balls with spicy salsa dip for starter and they live up to their name, delicious and spicy . The pizzas we got were excellent and we ate every bite. So very impressed and we will be back.

"enjoyed our evening in james st it was the best culinary experience of our trip! we had been happy to see this evening as we had a few hit-N-seals in the course of our trip to belfast. we were not disappointed and had the fabulous evening. we were quickly welcomed and sitting. the place is beautiful and spacious. revitalized and environment. the bar is great and would like to come back, only for drinks at the bar sometime. we ordered cocktails immediately. an Irish gin negroni and a traditional old fashion. my neger was absolutely excellent. I think the old fashion could have been done with real sugar cubes and not sugar syrup, but it wasn't too bad. we were quick to choose our wein. we chose a beautiful juicy red, the cline, the old vine zinfandel, 2019. to begin we had the ham hock terrine with piccalilli champ bread and some scallops with boar bell. the hanging-hock court was the best ham-hock I had. the homemade piccalilli was something else. really nice crispy and sharp sharp to help cut through the hammock and the champbrot was delicious crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. the scallops and black bells were disappointing, as they lacked no salt or genuine aroma or texture between them. we still ate it and shared the rest of my hammock. we both decided to go for the co. tyrone 270g fillet steak with sides of champ and truffle parmesan chips. red wine and pfeffer sauce. they were fantastic steaks. Actually, I didn't think I would finish mine, but I did. I have met the right choice with the jus and the truffle chips. they went so well together, the dryness of the parmesan and sweet, slightly greasy of the jus. the steaks were perfectly cooked. a medium and my medium rare. fantastic aroma on the grilled outside of the steak and beautiful texture when they pierce. we both agreed that the champ was the best champ we ever cost. it was hot, soft, so well aromatized with hot butter on the top of the copper serving pot melt. it was really the most incredible champ. I was too full of dessert. but my sample ordered the sticky toffee pudding sundae. the team was friendly enough to make me an espresso martini that was both decaf and not a sugar syrup. it was brilliant. we both managed to work our way, although a surprisingly light sticky toast desserts on Sunday. the team was fantastic. very friendly and chatting to us. the bar team did not stop, I had the pleasure of standing and watching them make a great selection of drinks and cocktails. the waiting staff were also very friendly when they check in with us at comfortable places to ensure that we were in order. we felt very well looked around. the service was very good, we didn't feel any hurry, it felt like such a free time in this restaurant. when we come back to belfast, we will be back in absolute terms and we will definitely recommend others. Thank you."

"I'm an American. I was invited to work at the queen’s university in a global conference. my airline has moved my baggage, so I stopped in the barking dog to use her wlan to check the status of my baggage and have a drink and a snack with my associate who has unusual allergies. the menu had nothing to call us, so we have decided to finish and move only our drinks./ at no point has anyone informed that it is illegal to have only drinks, and our server ran our review without mentioning any legal requirements. After I paid, someone who I suspect, the manager, came to the table and checked our reception. exactly what I thought was what they said before they cheated on me how it is illegal to buy drinks in a restaurant without eating. I apologised and explained that I had no warning. I offered to buy food retroactive and they refused. then they repeated that I was in a restaurant and not in a pub and that my activities were illegal. they denied my multiple attempts to apologise me while I explained that I am not out of the opposite. this experience was very confusing for me, because the night before me had drinks in a restaurant without food and it was no problem. in any case I was told that there is no such law and that the ordering of drinks without eating in a restaurant is very common. I've never been treated so badly in a customer service dynamic and I'm not sure why this happened. I feel targeted and totally mistreated for what does not seem to be a good reason. To finish it, it was my birthday. complete error in the name of what this person was. I will say the rest of the staff was very pleasant and accommodating."
