"We were staying in Plymouth after a long trip ahead of a further ferry journey. We decided to eat here as it was close to our accommodation. We were seated reasonably swiftly and our order was taken. Sadly, it was not repeated for confirmation by the waitress. She was inattentive and spent more time chatting with a friend than listening to her customers. The result was two items of the five we ordered were wrong. Thankfully, the manager resolved this satisfactorily but she was clearly overstretched being responsible for the running of the restaurant. She apologised and didn't charge us for the wrongly served items."

We were told a table for 2 would be a 5/10 minute wait but half an hour later and 3 couples pushing in front of us we walked out. Really bad service.

Great pizza but doesn't get 5 stars because they refused to give me a box to take my left over pizza home with me. Barbican leisure Park Pizza Hut provides you with a pizza box no issues

I stayed at the nearby Travelodge on my way to France the next morning. The service was great and the food was good. I shared a large pizza with the all-you-can-eat salad buffet, which was perfect and exactly what we needed.

We hadn't been out for a Pizza for quite some time, so we thought it was time we did. All three of us had different pizzas and we enjoyed the ones each of us had. Not too busy. Like the help your self salad bar, nice choice on offer.

Waiting for family member who had appointment at nearby hospital. Popped in for coffee. Changed it for a Salted Caramel milk shake, all I can say good choice. Talked into having a snack so went for onion rings and popcorn shrimp, another excellent choice.

Currently sat in the restaurant... there is only 3 other tables with people yet I've had to clear our table of 9 as the plates were sat here for ages waiting to be cleared. Here for a 10th birthday, they bought the cake out and we had to go and get our own plates! Won't be coming back and not even sure we will be paying.

We decided to eat at this restaurant while visiting a nearby retail store. Unfortunately, it was a bad decision. Although the staff was friendly, the food and salad were lacking in flavor, and the pizza was the worst we had ever tasted. We witnessed someone picking up a plate from a stack, deciding it was not suitable for their food, and putting it back on the stack with their hands all over it. We will not be returning to this Pizza Hut again.

The restaurant was not very busy, so we had to wait a long time to order and an even longer time for our starters to arrive. When our pizzas finally came out, one of them was extremely dry and lacked sauce. When we mentioned this to the young waitress, she brushed it off by saying it was because the pizza was a 3 cheese option. We were disappointed that she didn't take our complaint seriously, especially since we had paid extra for the 3 cheese option.

"Visited on a busy Saturday evening. General impression is the restaurant is clean, well presented and evidently well liked for how many people were in the small dining area. A little noisy, particularly in the confined space beside the kitchen, when seated close beside a louder table. As the evening progressed, we felt quite cold not sure if the heating was on? Service from the staff was outstanding, very friendly, polite, attentive, but food was slow to arrive. We were a little perplexed by having the appetiser on the table before our starter/main order had been taken, so having to work around still having the menus. The smoked butter was very strong my partner liked it, it was too much for me. Both fish starters were good, with the mackerel our favourite. The main courses were OK. The lamb was fine, but served with lamb fat root veg meant the whole plate was very similar flavoured, and the green beans/salsa verde felt like an afterthought. The skate wing was nice, and the crispy capers were a new and pleasant experience. The desserts rescued the food for me the creme brulée was outstanding, and the chocolate special was very good, with exception of a slightly chewy meringue. I feel I'm being picky with my criticisms, but fig tree is definitely priced higher than other more standard fare restaurants in Plymouth where we have also had very good food."
