"Pros: Cosy furnished, (too large selection of very tasty dishes and drinks. Selection between meat dishes, vegetarian and partly vegan dishes. Children's chair available. Children's dishes (pommes or rice with chicken skewers are present, however, are only informed upon request. If you want to go, make reservations in advance, otherwise it will be nothing or only with waiting time! You have to park on the road very full depending on the time, but with a short walk you will definitely find something! Cons: rather tightly chaired; little space for wardrobe (better to take the place and hang over the chair, however, it will be even tighter in the remaining corridors for the walk to the toilet. "We were thrilled. In early August we spent a nice short holiday in the area. After two days in the Europapark, we wanted to come to one of the locals last night and land on the recommendation of our Riegler Stammhaus hotel. We were warmly welcomed and found a place in the beer garden. We were immediately helped with the linguistic barrier of some local terms. We felt comfortable and the owner and our waitress were very loving. The whole thing was excavated by an excellent meal. The bottle soup was unique and we still talk about it. Why a preliminary soup makes so much impression?! You have to eat them to understand. Tastefully on all levels only a pleasure. The cabbage routines were also a mess. Here you will find really good German cuisine with a lot of love you taste. If we're back in the area, we'll be over. The evening was wonderful in your house and we thank you again for this (if it wasn't clear yet, great food, nice conversations and well-being atmosphere was! A warm greeting from the WDR4Land;"

"-Fleisch: ausgezeichnete, gehobene Qualität! Der Koch versteht definitiv sein Handwerk. Vor allem wer öfter hier essen war weiss seine Fähigkeiten zu schätzen. Das Fleisch ist auch von der Portionsgröße her absolut angemessen und stets wie gewünscht! 10/10-Salate: gefühlt gab es früher mehr Auswahl aber im allgemeinen lässt sich sagen: immer frisch und gut zusammengestellt, zum Fleisch passend. Portionen auch sehr üppig. Das Dressing ist ebenso nicht zu aufdringlich und angenehm! 8,5/10-Getränke: ich würde es als Standardmäßig gutes Sortiment bezeichnen, nichts besonderes, aber auch nichts auszusetzen.-Service und Ambiente: Seeeeehr klein innen (man kann auch draussen sitzen). Ich empfehle jedoch innen zu sitzen, denn: gerade durch die kleine, gedrängte Staffelung der Tische in Kombination mit der urigen Einrichtung und dem alten Flair entsteht eine ganz besondere, überaus gemütliche Atmosphäre, aus der man, wenn man einmal Platz genommen hat, eigentlich gar nicht mehr ausbrechen möchte! Sehr schön! Hinzu kommt der ausgezeichnete nette Service der Bedienung, die stets zuvorkommend dem Wohl des Gastes Sorge trägt. klare 10/10Fazit: wen es hierhin verschlägt, ist definitiv Fleischliebhaber. Hier kommt man so richtig auf seine Kosten. Das Highlight ist meiner Meinung nach jedoch das besondere Ambiente der Alten Schmiede!"
