"If you are visiting La Ciotat, take a gourmet stop at the Pizzeria de la Garde. You will eat delicious and generous pizza, even if you are a vegetarian. The flavors mix to form only one, sublime that is more. The pizzas that were copied, Miss didn't finish her plate. Fortunately, she was able to take the remaining two parts in a doggy bag that she would be happy to enjoy for dinner. Here is a picture of pizza: tomato sauce, tomato, mozzarella, gruyère, olive, basil, garlic. The tomatoes I removed (because I think they get married less well with pizza than the other ingredients) were nevertheless delicious. I recommend the detour!"

A very warm place. The staff is very welcoming. The plates are generous and everything is very good. A good address also to eat pizza or to buy to take a little excited away from the city's tumult halfway between the city and the calanques

Present for a birthday, we had a chosen menu in advance: 1 pizza for 4 incoming and a dish for choice between lasagne or Milanese escalope. I don't have to say it's a copious one, a copious one. Pizzas are good and well garnished. For my part, I chose the lasagna. Very good, tomato sauce and abundant bechamel This restaurant is worth a good meal to test the map.

Came across this excellent restaurant while sheltering from a freak snow storm. Its set away from the tourist area just north of the old town. When we were there it is pack with locals getting outside of generously proportioned and excellent value pizzas and grills. There is a wood-fired oven and friendly helpful staff. Small wine list of local wines, again offering value for money. Well worth finding.

A nice atmosphere (tall room, grey rustic stone wall, wood stove, cracking fire) and very large meals. We had a green salad as starter (3.50 Euros) which was large in a soup plate, fresh tomatoes and a good mustard sauce. The Pizzas from the wood stove were very nice, but too big with plenty 'topping '. Pizzaiolo could be observed preparing. Most of the people were locals who eat there. Only the TV 's showing a football match was annoying.

A marvel! I finally found the pizzeria that made me vibrate! An exceptional reception of all the staff who will fold in 4 if necessary. The bosses are like these hot and super nice places even in precipitation. It's worth noting that it's rare! What about pizza? a leg like I like them thick enough with very generous and greedy trims. The tomato base is cooked, a real treat. Ask the chef for your pizza or a speciality and the trip is guaranteed! A pure happiness I recommend

Visited restaurant on the basis of the reviews on trip advisor. Initial impression was goid and prices par for the course. My daughter and i ordered 2 pizzas mine was fine but extremely cheese heavy. My daughters was burnt- underside was black. When i complained the chef came out of the kitchen brandishing a slice of the pizza that wasnt burnt and said something quite rude in french. They still charged me for the pizza but by then i simply wanted to leave. Not a good experience.
