"This is described as a Pizzeria, but they don't have a wood burning stove and although they offer a wide range of toppings, and are good value for a 12 pizza, the one we had Majorera was average. However the 5 baby squids with onions was delicious and would go again just for that. Our other starter was 15 green lip mussels (heated from frozen) in a tomato sauce again very good value, but the sauce spoilt it. Fresh mussels do not seem to be available in this area. They have an interesting concept for pasta choose any shape you like and choose any sauce to go with it. We had tortellini which was small, soft and filled with minced pork (probably) served with a ham mushroom cream sauce which was very tasty. They do not advertise any home made pasta, so assume it is all dried or frozen. Service 1 waitress for around 5 covers on a Monday. Surprisingly it seemed to work due t the lady concerned. The outside tables are plastic in the entrance corridor."

The piizzas were boring. I never had a salad which was so overpriced like in this pizzeria. For 16, Euro we got some green salad with little tomato and a lot of onion. Not even a real dressing. Not to recommend.

Came across this restaurant when our original choice for lunch on the seafront was full. It is definitely fully open! (Details here). Though not directly on the front it is on the road behind bright and airy and run by a family who provide excellent friendly and attentive service! The pasta dishes we chose (spaghetti carbonara and macaroni with broccoli) were good too and excellent value recommended! View menu

This is an Italian restaurant and pizzeria, but they also do a few local dishes, such as their fabulous Chorizo Al Vino (sliced chorizo sausage baked in red wine and served sizzling). Nice lasagne, pizza reasonable. Also does take outs, so can get a bit busy. Order the 'house wine ' and you will get a decent bottle (albeit random selection from the shelf) which makes for a very good price and great quality!

The food is good here and when the female waitress or the chubby mature male waiter are around excellent service, however if young male waiter serving the service is dreadful. Lots of shouts and hilarity with waiter kitchen staff, plates just dumped down in front of customers. Waiter forgot part of the order no complimentary after dinner drink offered as is customary here. We left very disappointed this evening.

We had lunch here on 2 occassions. Out of large menu, most of which is not vegetarian we were able to choose 3 pizzas which were vegerarian and 2 starters. We had margeritta, funghi with mushrooms) and inferno with green pepper, onions and green olives) . The base was thin and crispy and the pizzas were well cooked and tasted nice. We also had starters- brushetta and garlic bread. Staff were friendly and service was good. The food was served in good time. There is parking on the road nearby. View menu

We decided to give this place a go because L'Aperipizza was closed. We had to walk past some punk sat with 2 dogs one being a pitbull to enter the restaurant. We were given only 1 choice of table. Whilst waiting for our pizzas we observed in horror a chef/owner come out of the kitchen and play with the dogs' mouth and then return to the kitchen, THEN he came out to the till and preceeded to count money before then serving food no handwashing AT ALL. The pizzas took a while and we couldn't believe they used tinned mushrooms, dried plastic chilli flakes, enough ham to make a pig and oily cheese on top. GROSS GROSS GROSS. I just don't know how they are still in business possibly because of unaw...

To be honest we were looking for another restaurant and failed to find it, coming across Faufal by accident. Having later seen the other restaurant I am quite happy we made the mistake! If you are looking for pizza in the area there are many to choose from but I wonder how they get the ratings they do when they appear little more than beer and pizza student joints. Walk around and you may see what I mean. How much better to come to Faufal which is a proper restaurant with proper waiters. While we were eating simply in pizza I would be happy to return and try dishes from a far more extensive menu than just pizza. But I would try the house red again good value for money. We wil be back in the...
