"The service team at Platzhirsch is first rate. Tonya and Gabi are friendly and professional--treating guests as family. The bartender was kept constantly busy, but not so busy she didn't provide friendly conversation to the guests. The meals are exceptional. This is a place you can bring out of town guests and feel confident that the experience will exceed expectations. There is plenty of parking if you come into the area from the rear of the property and walk through the brewery parking lot to the 'tor' onto the main street. The walk is fewer than five minutes. I started with the pumpkin cream soup (excellent) and enjoyed the Ganzekeule (goose leg) in preparation for Saint Martin's Day and the season of Goose meals in Germany. One caution...plan ahead and make a reservation. The locals have made this a favorite place to eat. The management is exceptional."

Brewery, brewhouse and beer garden, all together. Summer and winter. Super selfbraut Schönbuch Bräu -Bier, Brauerei Touren are also possible. Good food, really recommended.

Classic German Beer hall, The Beer is very good, look for the seasonal offerings. Have the BIG pretzel with butter, soups are very very good, had a few meals here and all were well prepared

Fabulous German restaurant in Boblingen - every single menu item is outstanding and the Chef's specials are amazing as well. We love the zwiebelrostbraten, schnitzels, and chef's specials. Also serves local beer.

Found a perfect sunny day to hang out on the patio.The staff was friendly and helpful, giving great advice on what to order and what goes well with what.The food was absolutely amazing. I ordered the steak strips with fried potatoes and I loved every bite.For dessert, I had the hot raspberries with ice cream and it went perfect with the meal.Will definitely make this a regular meal!

The Platzhirsch is an excellent restaurant for local Swabian cusine. The menu is almost entirely meat, with a fish offering on a rare occasion. The food is always excellent regardless of what one orders. Have been here several times and never disappointed. The atmosphere is definitely rustic and functional. Many large tables with a handleful of small tables, so it can be a bit challenging if one is dining alone on a busy night.The staff is very friendly and very helpful with one who is a non native speaker.You will enjoy the experience. Highly recommend it.

The Böblinger Braumanufaktur brewery restaurant is located directly at the post office, there are also public parking spaces. Local rustic decorated with lots of wood. The restaurant was very well visited at noon, there are daily changing lunches and about 10 selection dinners from the daily menu. Prices between 8 and 14 €. A salad buffet is built in the restaurant. Salads for self-assessment for 3,50 €. The food was served on the table with good portions, was fresh and well lubricated. The potato salad was made home. The service was friendly. There is an outdoor terrace for the warm months before the hamlet. Very large selection of delicious Schönbuch Bräu Bieren and well-maintained wines.
