"The food was delicious and there was plenty of it! I went with friends and we all ordered the mixed seafood, which was cooked perfectly. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning."

Great little restaurant, food is always of a high standard, home made chips, really yummy. Everything is freshly cooked, so expect a wait. Great atmosphere, hosts Fernando and Catherine,so friendly and welcoming. We were fifteen ladies, ther were no complaints, everyone had a great time. View menu

Good fresh food, generous portions ad very good value for money. We were served by Catherine who was friendly and helpful. We saw a photo of a burning sausage which we wanted to try and although it wasn't on the menu, we could have it. Our food arrived at table in a good time and it was served by the chef himself. Great experience.

I highly recommend the toast and hot chocolate at this restaurant in the morning. The bread is of excellent quality. I have also tried the omelette with a choice of ham, cheese, or mushrooms, served with chips, and it was delicious. The staff is friendly and talkative, making for a nice dining experience. Although I have not been for dinner, the menu looks intriguing.

Went here for the 4th time. A big International Group in before us so a little bit of a wait for food...but a great lively atmosphere! The clams,cod and chicken were great...and the owner is friendly and funny! Great value for money....and for those looking for authentic Portuguese food in Merthyr...a wonderful food option! Food was fantastic, staff lovely and friendly, all true to Portuguese cuisine with a passion for their food. Chef lovely and wanted to make sure all was good. Steak was done to perfection and mixed grill was very large and tasty, the sausages were 'to die for! ' Only visiting Wales but was worth a visit. Visited The falls and found this little Gem. Was not so sure at the beginning if it's genuine Portuguese. On arrival, was greeted at the table just as if I was in Portugal with bread, Sardine pate, butter and olives. They had the traditional food and alcohol, just like if I was in Portugal. Cod in cream (bacalhau com natas), one of my favorites. Ending the meal with a nice cafe and Beirao ... Totally recommended.

This restaurant in Merthyr is hands down the best place to eat. The welcoming atmosphere, delicious food options, and unique menu make it a top choice for anyone. I have never had a bad meal here, and I especially recommend the hanging kebabs, steak, and cod. They even bring out random nibbles while you wait for your meal, adding to the overall experience. It's the perfect spot to kick off a night out with friends or to treat yourself during the week. I highly recommend this restaurant. View menu
