"I lived in Bornheim Mitte for a few weeks whilst on an assignment and to be honest was getting sick of cooking for myself - so I went walking and chanced upon this little gem of a place.I have visited with my fiancee who can spot a speck of dust from 20metres away but she was happy. My Manager wanted to buy me dinner so rather than go to Zeil or WestEnd I thought to try Prager again. I e-mailed Linda who reserved me a table and I again a good night. The food was good - my manager had the ghoulash - which is three meals in one! I had two starters and enjoyed the beer battered chicken. The Rioja (I know it's not Czech) is excellent.I shall be back again soon."

Very helpful staff, I don't read German so was given a English menu. There was 3 of us and we all enjoyed our food. We will be going back again.

Good restaurant. Family guided, pleasant atmosphere, beautiful operation. The food was very high. Average price. But you know what you're doing here.

Nothing stunning but all OK. The inside is bright and clean, but also not very atmospheric. A better selection of Czech beers would be most welcome, and a the waitresses could be a little friendlier and also pay a little more attention. View menu

Very nice to sit outside and open lunch until 15:00. In addition to Czech dishes, there are also some Frankfurt specialities with green sauce, very tasty. Good service and it goes fast. Good quality of dishes, for me some small portions for the price.

It's a nice cozy restaurant , small and very busy , one needs to make a reservation to avoid disappointment, food is made in a perfect Czech platter , very friendly staff .nice Czech beer and other beer as well as wines . The signature dish is beef roast with brown gravy ...

The restaurant was clean, but the location is away from the downtown core where most tourists frequent. The food was authentic and tasted well. The beer selection could be increased from just Pilsner Urquell. Certainly, I have not found another restaurant in Frankfurt that has Czech beer on tap. The owner is pleasant and friendly, some of the waitresses could pay more attention to their customers. View menu

First impression lasts in especially with this restaurant there were circa 4 tables taken in the restaurant and 2 had reserved signs. When we asked for the possibility to reserve a table for 2. The answer was simply "NO". No explanation, nor asking for what time or when. The restaurant requires most certainly a temporary shut down and some staff training. This restaurant oddly looks always half empty and now we completely understand why. Even if the kitchen staff were any good at this restaurant that girl on the door is turning customers away and if they continue this rude behaviour they will not survive.

Great new restaurant in Bornheim and fairly full on a Friday night; might be worth reserving a table. Very friendly and helpful staff and we actually had a good time. I would have given 4 starts but the dessert of baked apple with nuts, chocolate and vanille sauce (Jablicka) took a very long time (the reason given that the apples had to be baked - okay) but then the apples served were completely under-baked, almost fresh. In comparison to other Bornheim restaurants they have hard competition to nearby Chairs and Ganesha but they have a nisch which appears to work. Prices are very slightly over the average for Schnitzels and beer.
